Kaltxì Palulukan!

If you had only a few dozen Na'vi words for everyday use, what would you choose?

I am asking, as I am interested in compiling a list of words for beginners; the first 50 of so they should memorize. Words like:

yes, no, please, thank you, hello, good bye, I/me, you, they, we, pretty, and, but, hot, "help!", call, ask, best, can, change, come, don't ("do not"), eat, and of course moron.

What words do you consider absolutely tìkin? (necessary) What word would you recommend to your friends to start with, so they could get a foothold in Na'vi and stay interested long enough to get through the tough times (early grammar + limited vocabulary + no one to yap with).

Eat is not my favorite word. But yom definitely is.

Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

yom is good, but its no "Yamom" :P
I think the best ones are:
"I see you"
"He is a moron"
"hello!"
"Goodbye"
"how are you"
"thank you"
"brother/sister"
And general lines from the movie (this is great because they seem to stick more if you can watch them in the movie as well)
I hope this helps.
Also i think grammer should be included straight away
e.g. tenses for a list
because it needs to be built in first before people get stuck in wrong ways of grammer.

Good thoughts. Thank you. I will have to munch (er... think ) on this

I think you should have

Hello
Goodbye
Eat
Yes
No
Do not
Moron
I/Me
You
Them
Is/To be
Come here (if there is a word for it, I haven't checked)

And the grammar should be the ay- me- and srak.

The next thing I think you should learn is verbs. They are one of the most important things in any language.
I'm getting a pet viperwolf for Christmas!

As the saying goes
you cant have a sentence without a verb.
