I'm currently trying to throw together a translator that will translate English-Na'vi and Na'vi to English.

So far it only can translate basic sentences and might give an incorrect meaning for some words (like who, when, where etc) due to there not being a proper grammar and context engine in place yet (very very basic one atm)

It is very much a work in progress. What do you think so far?

Mmmh... well there are a lot of translators stil existing; but this could be also a really great engine!
:)

But there are so many of them... and no one OpenSource. Do you mind making this OpenSource? (Hopefully if no ones copy it and releasing it under his name  -.-  ) Because if it weould be, everybody could help making and also learning how to do such an Na´vi Translator!
(Surely I´´m a fan of OpenSource software  ;)  !)

Hey thanks.

I am working on a community addition system so if there are wrong words or wrong translations they can be fixed. Also got a domain cheaply for it :D

Updated from version 0.1 to 0.2.

Changes:
- Added more words to dictionary file
- Added basic grammar rules
- Added basic word order rules
- Added caching engine to speed up translation.

I put in "I don't know."  It gave me: oe rä'ä omum.   We're nearly 100% sure that rä'ä is used for negative commands.  The simple negation is ke.

Thanks, should be fixed now.

It is still very very very basic and a Work in Progress, so pointing out errors helps me fix it. I am by no means an expert in Na'vi.
