Kaltxi, niwotx Na'vi
(hello, all Na'vi)

I have started this topic because I would like to hear how Na'vi has crept into your or people you know of live's like the thread "my life is Na'vi' but this one is more than just how you said Kaltxi to someone at the store and they said kaltxi back, there is more to being Na'vi than speaking the language I want to see how learning of the Na'vi and the Na'vi life style has changed your thoughts on our planet. I don't know about you but i would love to be a Na'vi and so have adopted some of the culture and infused it with mine by seeing truely seeing the beauty of this planet buy once our eye's have opened we see what we have done to it there is still time to keep our planet beautiful and live as one with it not use it and throw it out.

I love Na'vi....I speak it to random people all the time but everyone goes, "huh? is that European"  :'(

Zefanaya

Yeah I'm just going to keep greeting people in Na'vi until i find some one who knows what I am saying

also wouldn't a Rosetta stone for Na'vi be great.

The film and the culture really changed my outlook. I am researching buying a tesla sedan as my next car when i graduate law school (3 semesters) as well as using integrated solar in my home. From what I have seen it can be done with a recoupable investment over 5-10 years. This is besides learning the language.

I guess that I have just decided that it is a bit hypocritical for me to love the idea of unspoiled beauty on another planet and leave this one to rot. I am not talking about being a green nazi, just doing simple things to help out.

Yeah i always talk to my friends in Na'vi for funsies and practice and a hope that one day they will understand

all i usually get in return is a blank stare and a "say what?"

I've said hello to people in Na'vi, but they just at me with a puzzled look. Havn't found anyone yet.

Someone is already working on Rosetta Stone like project. You can find it in the Projects section.

Hikyuuri

Next time I go to see Avatar, Ill be greeting people in Na'vi.  It would be interesting to see if anyone knew what I was saying.

Thats awesome! I'm hoping that people will transfer some of their enthusiasm for Pandora back to Earth. Most of the things we can do are consumer driven, ie. if the money spends green companies will provide it. It sounds like you are enjoying yourself as ma tsmukan!

Yes, Pandora is beautiful but so is earth we must remove the destruction and pollution, free the land and live as one with it, earth might not have gloing trees or rainbow colored bugs and the ground does not light up when you step on it but look into the past or parts of the world untouched by modern technology ut us pure and beautiful.

I guarantee with enough radioactive waste we can make glowing trees and rainbow bugs, it's just a matter of time.

Haltxi,

so like I said early in the threads that I have sort of taken Na'vi culture and mixing it into everyday life so "Everyday Na'vi". So i thought that I would kind of do like a little update 3 or 4 times a week this is the first. Today I started at a new school and at the risk if being considered a nerd or freak started greeting people with Kaltxi or oel ngati kameie and got some replies in Na'vi or others were like that was from a movie right, but Everyday Na'vi is not just speaking the language it is the culture (minus worship of Eywa and hunting) in this case looking at how pure and beautiful Pandora is and seeing what we can do to clean up and make earth look beautiful because underneath all of the junk that us humans throw at our planet it is still amazing (too bad the dround and plants don't glow that would be tight) but we need to see what we can do to influence a culture change (no i don't drive a prius and I'm not a hippie) so I encourage you to try and adopt Na'vi culture and language into your life and then post your on replies about your Everyday Na'vi life fell free to PM me with question and yes I read all replies.
