You might have notived that it hasn't worked as smooth lately. This is related to the scheduled downtime, and that things went to h***.

I've replanned some core stuff in the server layout and hopefully I will get it online, fully operational and stable tonight.

An early heads up, in about 2-3 weeks time I will replace the SSL certificate, which means that you might get warnings saying that the SSL certificate is invalid. It won't be any problem to ignore it though.

I'm also planning to change the domain from kelutral.haxalot.com to secure.haxalot.com (which prevents the certificate switch to pass unnoted).

Besides there was a typo this whole time (it's kelutrel.haxalot.com instead of kelutral.haxalot.com).

Is there going to be an e-mail link to this from http://skxawng.lu/? The last one disappeared.

And that's why I'm getting rid of it. Also, secure.haxalot.com is better for any non-na'vi that might get use of an SSL connection.

If you wan't to do the update ahead you could just make sure to link to http://kelutral.haxalot.com/webmail/ (without the s in https://). The domain is wildcarded so I could fix that with redirects when the certificate is in place.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into putting together an update this weekend (if I have the time

...I just released another program as well, a lesson converter for SoL, so bugs may take my time if people end up using it)

As the broadcast message says, the certificate change will take place tomorrow at 15:00 CET. After that you might get a message similar to this if you try to enter webmail system via the old URL:

The new certificate is now in place!

There was an unexpected restart of the server today and it is booting as I type this.

The server is down and I have no idea about what is going on...

There have been multiple powerfailures today, and the last one corrupted the servers filesystem and I hope that I can restore it in a normal fashion. If the filesystem can't be restored the next line of defense will be to revert the machine to a snapshot taken at midnight.

The server is working and there was no need to fall back to the next line of defense. There hasn't been any power failure for 24 hours so I'd say that it'll be stable again.
