Kaltxi,
As much as I would to keep a fast development pace, I just can't.
School is coming up and then I will have no free time.
So, I am adding a link to a zip file with all the source, assets and data for the projects.
FlexThe flex program uses XML files, which was always a limitation. I started to move all the data over to a mysql database and
there is a dump of that database included as well. All the words are there but some of the mapping data is not correct.
All the assets: audio, images, xml data is included in the flex project folder.
Open Office BaseIncluded in the file is also an Open Office Base file with all the words, correctly mapped data and a handy form for adding/editing.
This is not related to the flex program, it was just a side project I tossed together.
PHCDownloadFinally there is a database dump from a PHCDownload install.
PHCDownload is a file management / sharing / rating / commenting suite. All the audio files that were uploaded into this system
are also included. I have not seen anything else like PHCDownload. I was going to use it to manage the audio files and then
just point the flex app at those files.
RamblingsWhat I always wanted to do was to setup a php or ruby framework for management of the words, quizzes and exercises. This
data would in a mysql database, which allows for much greater flexibility. But alas, I left my programming job because I burned
out on building or setting up frameworks.

If someone wants to pick up the flex code and run with it, go for it.
If someone wants to setup a ruby or php framework that uses xml to interface with flex, I would be interested in hooking flex
into such a system.
I have searched high and low for a free CMS or GUI admin backend that allows for generic content creation, allows you to add
fields to the content, define the field type and then relate content together. The closest thing I have see is Pods CMS,
a plug-in for wordpress.
