I began working on it today, and I have finished a basic UI and search function which searches thru a local, pretty unfilled database. When I heard that I would get the source code from Taronyu, I assumed he meant the source code for the web version, which I assume are written PHP and fetches the Data from MySQL. My plan at that point was to make something in PHP that could generate a new database file for my application, and in that way it would be easy in the future to update my applications word database. This is of course not to much use unless FOX decides to open up the language, so that it can be develop properly.
Tanhì Tireafya'o: I looked at you application, and it seems that it tries to connect to a database, but fail to do so, leaving me with this error message: "System.Data.Odbc.OdbcException: ERROR [IM002] [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified".
For all of you that want to see a Linux/OSX version, I'm sorry to say that the only way to support it is to use another language, and C# .NET is the only language that I master right now, So you will probably have to hope on someone else.
Anyway, I have a screenshot of my early version, if you want to see what it looks like. What's not shown in the screenshot is that you will see the phonetic writing of a word when you hold you mosu over it. I'm also planning to implement support for audio playback. Kinda like the one that exist on the website.
