I keep referring to the learn Na'vi pages when there's something I'm not yet remembering.  But there are a lot of things we do know which are not documented there, or are poorly explained.  I keep thinking things like "I should add more information" then fret that it's a static page and not a wiki page.

It would also be a good place for people to collaborate on projects like tutorials, reference material, and the like.

So what say you, would learnnavi.org host a Na'vi language wiki?

24 hours ago, I would have said that it might be a bit to early for that, but 2800 of you (visitors since the site started up) disprove that.

Anyone else care to voice in on something like http://wiki.learnnavi.org/?

Compound all the resources we have into a wiki that can develop and grow to find all the info we need in the fastest way possible?

Yes please!

Tirealì'u

I think we're solid enough to add something like this into the mix.

Everything is moving along quite well, and I think this will be another great step. In under a week, so many things have happened.
Failure is the mother of success.
Soon, we will no longer be the leaves on the wind, but the wind itself.
You don't have to be a scholar to be a leader.
Join the real life Na'vi tribe here  (And yes, it will be a real tribe in the real world, NOT a role play tribe!)

Just curious whether it would be prudent to create a language section on the already-existing wiki ( http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Avatar_Wiki )..hm?

Thats pretty impressive.  How good is your tracking software?  It would be nice if you could make some of that data accessible.  I'd really like to see how globally distributed we all are.

That would work as well.

Then everyone who uses that wiki will see that and wonder where it came from and will join here!

Let the menihical plotting begin.  :P

You know, I was thinking of that when I started the post, but forgot by the time I finished.  That could work as well, as long as that wiki's administrators are amiable to it.

I think it would be easier to keep everything we have and everything we did on the same plateform. If everything can be found here it's way easier for everyone and the new ones too. :)
°°We don't forget anyone, we only get used to their absence.°°

Best thing about Google Analytics - live reporting.

The main reason I think it would be useful is that right now, the description of grammar and lenition is just that - a description of it.  It is not instructions on how to use it or a reference for the parts of speech.  Many of the things I know now I had to infer from what I could find elsewhere.

Wow, 75 countries represented on here (not including the forum). I love Google Analytics, first time though I've seen it on a site that has actually generated some decent traffic...

Except that wiki is ugly, spam-filled and hard to read.

I agree.  I hope we don't have to resort to ads on this forum to keep it up and running (A donations page may come in handy down the road)...

GoogleAnalytics♥. My own website gets ~300 hits a day, so it's refreshing to see *actual* data :)

Costs, right. Unless you all cross the 150 tb bandwidth mark, I foresee no financial concerns (of having to upgrade my hosting plan). Donations page will be nice down the road, but for now, I'd like to keep everything ad-free, for now.

Wiki... currently uploading the 34MB it takes to run an empty MediaWiki template. Please hold... ♪♫

Irayo Seabass for hosting all of this and being an awesome administrator.  I'm glad we don't have to worry about bandwidth anytime soon...

I'll be sure to put in what I can this evening when I get a chance, if it is ready by then.

Cool.  I'll unstick the Corpus post and put the info into the wiki — a more sensible format for that sort of thing, anyway.

Can you all believe how quickly this was all done???  Not even a week, and there are reviews, lessons, practices, stories, poetry, wiki pages!  I am literally on the edge of my seat to see what happens next!
