Someof us were thinking of designing a learnnavi flag. We're thinking a light blue (or dark) background with a dark blue (or light) Na'vi handprint, and maybe Kelutrel in green.

What do y'all think?  ;D

You could just put our logo on a black flag.

But is it FANTASTIC enough?  ;D

Why not do a take off of the flag of Mexico? Black in the middle, green and blue on the outside, and where the eagle with a snake on a cactus is on the Mexico flag, have Kelutral.

This sounds like a great idea, but without the learn na'vi, it is a flag for the Na'vi afterall. Also, I think that the handprint and kelutral should be in the middle with Na'vi eyes huge on either side and a little bit higher, since the Na'vi understand the idea that "the eyes are the windows of the soul" (- Max Beerbohm).

I think go for a style slightly like the Spanish flag (except without the stripes) with black background, then the coat of arms replaced with a na'vi hand-print with a motto saying "learn na'vi" and instead of the pillars of Hercules as supporters, have mehelutral.

First, leave the eyes off. They don't (to me anyway) fit well on a flag.

Any color scheme should be predominantly blue or cyan. Green (or other color) trim is fine.

Since Kelutral is a symbol of the Omtakaya Na`vi, is that the best symbol? Do we need to put 'Omatakaya' in smaller print somewhere? Do we even want to associate exclusively with the Omatakaya? That said, the Kelutral/handprint idea seems to be a good idea, and one most other that have posted here, like.

Do we want to have any Na`vi text on the flag? Perhaps exclusively Na`vi text? (What is the intended use of the flag?)

For a whole other idea, how about a flag that attempts to reproduce the 'streamers' talked about in the ASG? Something that would be related to the fact the Na`vi are master textile weavers? This opens up a whole world of ideas, including a nontraditional shape for the flag.

Possibly instead of Kelutral, a more universal symbol, Vitrautral, a symbol of Eywa and therefore the Na'vi.

I believe that this flag's purpose is to represent the Na'vi as their own sort of country on Pandora, in which each clan is like a town or city. Therefore I would say that any and all text should be omitted from the design.

I love the Incredibles, btw.  :D

I was thinking a handprint would represent the Na'vi as a collective people.

I just posted my first attempt in my albums. It's in Avatar Art.

I was already busy with a Learnna'vi flag :p

But I decided just to put our 'learnnavi' logo on it :p

I like the handprint with Kelutral idea. I think it would look good on black material with a light(ish) blue handprint and a dark green Kelutral. Also for a saying to put on it, how about "Ivong leNa'vi Frakrr?" Thoughts?

Have a look at this one. (the emblem was NOT made by me.)
I tweaked the color in the emblem, and added a few glowing spots.
I will make another later.  ;)
