Kaltxì ma frapo!

2 issues ( one Puvomun already knows about )

1. Seems alot of not translated.
2. I only came across this by accident but WOTD_662 has lost the hyperlink to it's MP3!

I know it has cause it's not there and i visit the page DAILY to download the mp3 if there is one, and to make a copy of the page.
not sure why it went missing but i wonder if any more have gone as well. will look into this later.
Hope all is Ok there Omängum Fra'uti really missinng your updates and examples to it!

I prepared a number of new words again. The file is ready for download in the usual spot.

if me and a few others come up with some translations and get them checked by some of the karyu, would you be able to post them to the words? ( seems a shame for it to have soooo many days without 'Ìnglìsì and Na'vi )

I'd have to look into a way to do that, as the descriptive sentences are currently pulled from a google docs file that is (was?) maintained by Omängum Fra'uti. I'd have to fix something using a secondary file to use if the info is not found in that original file. I can't edit his original file.

I don't know what it's called within G-Docs, the URL I use is https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0AoHgm3IUToF-dFhLVkdDTUZKaXNEbkhHN3BOT2hlYnc
It is probably the same, I just pull the file in as text format, but you should be able to tell from this. Good luck!

noticed the banner bar that shows the wotd that people like to use in their signature's is broken today on the WOTD site, so maybe broken for people's signatures

I've finally gotten a real temporary server set up for these. The old URLs should work again, so anyone using them before the 2 month downtime should just see them magically work again. :)

I can't guarantee up-time because this is now on a shared hosting company's "experimental server", but it's better than being on a server that doesn't exist yet.

To those who've been wondering what happened to this, sorry it took so long. University and technical issues got in the way :(

Nothing broke except my amount of available time and my fading interest in the Na'vi language. Sorry guys.
If someone wants to take over, please let me know. I may be able to add a few words tomorrow but that won't be much.

I've taken over hosting and running the Na'vi WOTD website from Puvomun.

Awngal Puvomunit apxa irayo seiyi kìte'eri a zìsìt amune vohina trr!

I hope I can at least get it going with examples for now, and later may be able to have new samples of spoken na'vi in the future. I'm far from perfect, and these are VERY big shoes to fill. but worth every bit.

I hope I can do as good a job as Puvomun and Omängum Fra'uti have with this site.

Updates to follow as site in transition so may not have any updates for a few days while i get things in order and going again. =)

Srane. Oe ke längu fpom slä ngay lu. It's all been a tremendous load of fun, but in a way I blame James Cameron. The new film will do a lot of good, I am sure, but at the moment the incentive's just not there. I hope I won't forget too much of the language, as it's brilliant, but... things happen.

Announcement: Thanks to Seze from Learnnavi.org The Na'vi Word of the Day website is being hosted on one of his servers where I can manage it and have it Up and available for all of you 24/7 and not have it go down as well as meet the demands of access for the future as when the day comes that Avatar 2 releases I expect it's traffic to increase substantially and I don't think my little raspberry Pi would have handled that.  It is Now available both through naviwotd.keypuk.co.uk AND the new   http://naviwotd.palulukan.net !!!!!! thusly because the NEW url is much more fitting the old url will soon no longer be pointed to the site's new location so please update your bookmarks.
