Right, so I'm going to make my best attempt at this and you guys are free to help. I'd like to hear how it sounds when it's sung in Na'vi. Here are the lyrics for reference:

(Intro)

(Verse 1)
The person that you were has died
You've lost the sparkle in your eyes
You fell for life - into its traps
Now you wanna bridge the gaps
Now you wanna bridge the gaps
Now you want that person back

(Intro)

(Verse 2)
And all your ammunition's gone
Run out of fuel to carry on
You don't know what you wanna do
Cause what you want does not want you
If what you want does not want you
And you've got no pull to pull you through

(Chorus)
Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"

Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"

(Verse 3)
If what you've lost cannot be found
And the weight of the world weighs you down
No longer with the will to fly
You stop to let it pass you by
Don't stop to let it pass you by
You've gotta look yourself in the eye

(Chorus)
Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"
*Oh you are*

Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"

(Bridge)
Cause we are all miracles
wrapped up in chemicals
We are incredible
Don't take it for granted, no
We are all miracles
Oh we are

(Chorus)
Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"
*Oh you are*

Say "I am"
Say "I am"
Say "I am wonderful"
*Oh you are*

Cause we are all miracles
wrapped up in chemicals
We are incredible
Don't take it for granted, no
We are all miracles
Oh we are

Don't take it for granted, no
We are all miracles
wrapped up, yeah we're wrapped up
Oh we are wonderful

--------

And down here I'll be posting my progress on the translated version. Irayo!

(Verse 1)
Tute tsatu layu, layu(?) kerusey.

(Chorus)
Plltxe oe lu.
Plltxe oe lu.
Plltxe oe lu txana tìsevin.
*Oh, ngati lu.*

One problem you need to have "san...sik" for quotations.

wonderful ~=~ beautiful = lor
Say "you are wonderful" ~=~ San si san Nga lu lor sik.

Ftxey lu nga tokx ftxey lu nga tirea? Lu oe tìkeftxo.
Listen to my Na'vi Lessons podcast!

Letxepa tirea

Ah yeah didn't read that far in it's definition.

Here we go: sevin = [sE"vin] PF adj. pretty (of people)

So Nga lu txana tìsevin,  literally: you are great prettiness

Oe zola'u, Oe tsole'a, Oe skola'a

Mako

Yeah, if all else failed, I was going to use sevina for wonderful.

Someone check the grammar here? I know the tense on kerusey is wrong for sure.

Tute tsatu layu, layu(?) kerusey.

It's the line "The person that you were has died."

Letxepa tirea

Tute tsatu layu, layu kerusey.
Literal: Person that person will be, will be dead.

That doesn't work at all I'm afraid.

so here we have "The person that you were has died."

Here is my shot:

Nga l<alm>u tsatu, ulte tsatu l<ìlm>u kerusey.
You am(PAST+PFV) that person, and that person am(RECPAST+PFV) dead
You were that person, and that person has just died.

If I messed up on the aspects please help me, I'm trying to learn them.  :)

Mako

Actually, now looking at it, why not just use <ol>, the past tense? l<ol>u?

Letxepa tirea

True you could use ol, but I don't think it carries the same meaning as you are intending it to.

Also would "excellent" work as a synonym for wonderful?

If so Txantsan(adj) is "excellent"
