( Sorry for my bad english level. I'm from the french Learn Na'vi Community. But I can ensure you that my accent is the worst thing in my english level and you have to be happy to only have to read me ^^)

I've found here a pseudorandom Na'vi name generator:

I don't know if someone else was aware of that.

This program does not parse name's etymology.
It's only working with a checksum system and the names are selected from a predetermined list.
But the results seems to be correct Na'vi names.

A bit more logical than some, I guess.

I think the best way to translate names into Na'vi might be to translate the meaning of one's name into Na'vi, rather than relying on phonetics and loan-word sort of syllables. The thread on Na'vi names has some interesting ideas...
