I like the cover, good job. So, book is ready to travel? How it will work?
:D On monday I can print the cover. Then I need to write something nice in the book and then let's go. :)
The big question which I have is, who will get this book first? :o :-\ :-\

Txantsana fmawn :D

Well, since you're in Germany, maybe someone in Germany should be next? Or country doesn't matter, so anyone from wherever next... :)

Maybe we/you/someone should make a list of all people who want to participate so that we can see who this book will be sent to (better organization) and see who already had the book and so on...  :-\

Tìtstewan

Countries doesn't matter. Everybody should fell free to send this book where he/she want/wish. :)

To create a list to see who want this book, would be a bit difficult, because I have to ask every user here on this forum or everybody write here on this thread, who wish to get this book. But of course, I would create a list, where this book will go and whom and also who already have this book. I will think more about it.

IMHO who has interest in writing this book, should note it here. How next people will be selected? Some way like in Notw sub-forum? Create list of persons here seems to be better idea - next person can be selected more easily and it can help optimize traveling and delivery cost. It gives no sense to send book from Europe to America and back to Europe, I think

That was the whole point I was trying to write about ;D Irayo ma BlueElf for explaining it better.

Tìtstewan

I think, I will select someone in Germany. How to select people: Maybe it would be a good idea to select someone whos live 'really' near. For example, just select someone who live in South of Germany. A person who lives in South Germany but near the Middle of Germany send this book there ... than it goes to the neighbour states ... than to the US etc.
This should reduce the delivery costs.

So I will call all who have an interest to get this book and please note your interest here on this thread! :)

Edit:
Who live near by me? (I'm in Neu-Ulm) :-\

Eana Unil, Germany, Baden-Württemberg, Schwäbisch Hall ;)

The map is a very nice idea :) But maybe a interactive map such as from google maps or something would be easier to handle and more clear  :-\ :)

And maybe it would be better to collect some more names before you send this book on its journey  ???

I think this would be dufficult, because it would show really exact the location of a user here, especially they, who won't publish their location. I believe, we only would know the city location, but an interactive map fit better for thing like the "Find the nearest Na'vi friends". But if other user like this idea too, I will see what I can do. :) *noted*

I'm afraid this is very interesting 'problem'. The question is, how many LN-member know about this thread? Have they any interest on this project?
What you would say, how many we need listed to start it? I really can't say that, but the book has 40-50 sheets (80-100 pages) and pages per member ~4 ...  20-25 members?

Put me on the list as well, I'm already coming up with ideas to fill my 4 pages.
I will keep my exact address private until someone PMs me to send the Puk. I live in the province of Limburg in the Netherlands.

Maybe it is an idea to have writers send a PM to Tìtstewan when the book has left their ownership so that only the previous writer knows where the book has gone but everyone can know where it has been, perhaps by joining dots on that nice map you have in the first post.

This.
I just need the country, state/provence and city, so I can put a dot on a map, but don't worry, on this map on the first post would be difficult to find out the exact position of the member.

Yes indeed, though I very much like the style of the map (and I don't believe you should change it), the map is not entirely geographically accurate. I'm not worried at all that someone's home address can be found by simply looking at the map. It would just be a nice way of tracking pukä afya a pxaw 'Rrta. ;)

Now, I have to talk about two things:
- first, how long a user can hold this book? (2 weeks, 3 weeks or we need any hold limit?)
- second, the costs. Indeed, I don't like that, but I have to.
I don't know what a small package will cost in other countries, so I just write here the delivery costs from the DHL (Germany):
Delivery costs inner country and EU:
GermanyEU / European Union

  • max mass: 2kg
  • minimum size: 15cm x 11cm x 1cm
  • maximum size: 60cm x 30cm x 15cm
  • Price: 4,10€
  • more info: *click*

  • max mass: 2kg
  • minimum size: 15cm x 11cm x 1cm
  • maximum size: L + W + H = 90cm but no longer than 60 cm
  • Price: 8,60€
  • more info: *click*

It would be really great, if anybody can post the delivery costs of your country here. Also if anyone found a cheaper delivery service. :)

You can ask Markì to put advertisement on main page - I don't think he refuse.

As for price - I don't know weight of the book, but small package (~0.25 kg?) I've set to USA from Czech republic costs about 4 Euro.
