We found during the 'Rocky's Great Adventure' project that we did need a list of places little Rocky (a small plush lion) would travel to. It also gave everyone involved plenty of advance warning that he was about to show up on their doorstep. Most importantly, when Rocky got lost after 9-11, we had a good reason to explain why he suddenly disappeared. Luckily, Rocky turned up again about a year later, and was able to continue his Journey.

I'll have to contact the person who organized this, and see if he still has the full webpage that was created about Rocky's travels. I'm also curious to know where Rocky ended up (he did sucessfully complete his world tour of six continents and about 20 stops). He might be as close by as Fallon, Nevada, where the real Rocky lived.

I also think that asking Marki to put an announcement about this in the rotating banner is a txantsan idea!

Interesting. I guess the security have chatch this lion.
But I think, they can see that this is a book, not a "TNT filled" plush lion...

Well, I will write a PM to Markì. :)

Edit:
PM sent ;)

Wooo, just heard about this. Definitely add me to the list.

People from the United States should look into Media Mail from USPS for domestic shipping. It's limited to books (and a few other things) but is the cheapest shipping you can likely get. International shipping from the US via USPS will have to be done by First-class Mail International for parcels up to four pounds. If the book weighs more than 4 pounds we will have to use more expensive options.

If it weighs more then 4 pounds, we are going to have to ask K. Pawl for a term for 'tome'. ;)

Kaltxi ma frapo!
Oel kameie ayngati! Some years ago a school class in Sweden sent away a teddy bear and asked to pass it on and document where it have been.. Some years later, it came back to the teacher, the class were gone.. But this teddy bear was in the Guinness book of world reccords as the teddy bear that have travelled most on earth.. :P Just think if "our book" could do something like this.. Great thought isn't it?! Looking forward to see what's happening.  ??? Kìyevame ulte Eywa ayngahu

It would be wonderful, if we can do the same! But I'm afraid, this will be very very *more difficult than beating a Palulukan by an human without any weapon* difficult. :-X ..and a lots of luck. :)

I don't think nawm would work. It means "great" in sense of "noble" (or something similar), not "great by size/weight/whatever". Puk apxa seems to be good solution.

As a geocacher, I was thinking about attaching tracking tag to the book, so people can log it on geocaching.com - but I'm in doubts there's more geocachers here.
