You can practice singing along to that one until you get it down.

Note, there are two minor mistakes in the sample song. Don't worry about it but, if you can, when you sing your section(s) that you want to do, go off of the list of segments that you posted.

Hey I just uploaded a file to the gallery...it's a webpage I made for the line "lu yawne eylan" I had no idea how to fit it into my skit for the line, so hopefully somebody will...Please somebody use it? xD

May be a late suggestion, but maybe you ought to mix up the background singers for the chorus, rather than using the same people for the whole chorus line?  (seeing how there's about 3 sets plus the final outtro, which could offer around 20-25 extra people a chance to get in their vocals)

Also, just curious since I can't be assed to read throughout the whole thread (...What?)  You're recording audio before the video was that the plan?  'cause it would probably be easier to record audio after the video is done, since it does give vocal cues on how the line should be, contextually- though I'm sure you've already got that thought out :B  I just noticed it after watching a few of Discovery's clips, a lot of the single lines (as well as the chorus....es?  choruses?  chorusi?  fehh..) are contextually based on the scenery :B  I mean if you had a clip of Neytiri firing an arrow, you don't want a guy singing a line that doesn't have the same stress, right? heh heh..

So, I was hoping to have all the video submitted sometime a week or so ago. So...where are we at folks?

Alright guys and gals, I've all about given up hope on this project. Unless I see at least 5 people post sometime this weekend that they are (or will soon be) working on videos for this I'm going to consider this project abandoned and remove it's sticky and bury it. I'll probably attempt to complete it on my own but I know that it won't be anything close to what it could be.

Honestly, I'm really disappointed, this is something that could be our greatest community creation up to now and would only take maybe an hour of your time at the least. Are we really that lazy? Only one person has given me a valid reason for not submitting anything after showing interest in this project and that's because he doesn't have access to a video camera.

So, honestly, what's the deal? Am I asking too much? Is it too hard? Do you need more time? Do you not fully understand what needs to be done? What?

I will be working on my clip(s) soon. I've been having a tough time getting to the condition where I can film, have the clip make sense with the song, and not be horrific. Please hold on just a bit longer. I will have a tripod soon (after Saturday, otherwise known as tomorrow), meaning I could attempt the open fields segment...or something like that.
