I have NO idea what that means. As this is not the "Na'vi only" forum, can you please include a description tag? It's just being considerate to others.
2022 update: Working on the new astrology book. "How to read tarot" books are on Amazon, if you are into that sort of thing.
Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)

I got it for ya:

Ummmm... "Thanks?" ... I think maybe... or maybe not... ??

Anyway, on other matters...

I also made this now unsticky (yay!).

My translation is a little loose but I think that's the intended meaning.

Once I got "will stop", I had the last line.

Ha!

Quote from: 'eylan na'viyä on February 24, 2010, 04:17:49 AM
nìwotx ngeyä kxetse leru teykusìng ne ayoe

Naive transliteration: "All your tail are make-giving to us"

Best-effort translation: "Your tail completely is-IPFV give-CAUS-PART towards us", but:
 - nìwotx is an adverb, so it can't modify "your tail"
 - the intended meaning is "all of your tails", but kxetse is singular
 - tìng probably can't take both a CAUS and PART infix at the same time
 - ne means motion towards, not posession
 - you wouldn't use ne with either lu or tìng

So the words literally say "All your tail are belong(?) to us", but it's ungrammatical nonsense.

IT'S PERFECT!!!!

(Swap out kelku for kxetse to get the more famous phrase...)

Since not all of us will be able to see this when it's published, could someone please post a scan of it somewhere? :)

I'd like to make a request of anyone who lives within reach of Los Angeles.  If and when the LA Times actually publishes this, could someone please purchase two copies of the paper and send them to me?  I'd like to have a souvenir, but I don't live in the area.

If you're willing and able to do this for me, please send me a PM.  I'll happily reimburse you for the papers, postage, and your time.

Thanks,

  - Eri

Repost this request in our Southern California thread. I am from LA, but in in San Diego for a time. Get a date and ask in So Cal, as we have 5 or 6 people who can prolly grab an LAX at a moment's notice.

This is so cool really. It's definitely awesome to have some bashing phrases. They say that you know a language well when you can either joke or argue with it. And well, this meets the latter requisite.
