The Windows version has not been updated yet. That is Swoka Ikran's territory

(OR anyone who wants to help may surely join by giving me their Google Account address to add to the project)

At this point, it would be a pain to attempt making a Windows version, since bugs are still being squashed and the code is still changing. I'd have to constantly patch it. I'll wait until the Linux version is finished and mostly debugged.

Also, all my classes are piling on the end-of-semester projects and papers :(. Several of those assignments are programming-related projects. I get out May 4th, so this workload thankfully won't last too long.

Dictionary v12.5 is out for a few days, but data for vrrtepcli are still v12.412. They aren't updated automatically with dictionary or something goes wrong?

Blue Elf

Updated to 12.5, but.... seems that new words are missing....

Nah, what happened is, our central database didnt update its scheduled dumpfile. I'll try again now. I noticed this earlier too, thanks for confirming

Blue Elf

noticed that finally updates work correctly now (irayo nìtxan!) Just found something interesting:
C:\Windows\System32>vrrtepcli mek
Vrrtep CLI v1.94.2 by Tirea Aean
Windows version by Swoka Ikran
Standalone version

or metaphorically: ``having no value";adj. empty\

Data for "mek" are somehow reversed. Just reporting (but if you think I'm nitpicker - well, you can think it ;))

Thanks for reporting. This may be worth reporting on official dictionary thread too.

There's no problem in the dictionary - this change occurs probably during export

indeed, bug confirmed.

ANd I know why: That definition contains a semicolon (;). Vrrtep gets its part of speech info, and definition info by skimming and reading between semicolons. This will break if any definition has a semicolon in itself. Fixed in the database, vrrtep will be fixed with in a day or two.

Thanks for bringing this up. :)

Finally I made my linux in virtual box working somehow, so I tried - seems to be working.

Great! Just nitpick - it writes: "affixes äp eyk iyev äng"
Wouldn't it write "infixes" ? Technically it is correct (infix is part of affixes), but.....

It says affixes because it strips prefixes and suffixes too. Try typing a gerund which does NoT have a root form which appears infixed.

I'll let you know when I run into something odd or off. Good luck hacking the infixes...
