give an name for the country you live in make it na'vi but easy to recongnise (since na'vi dont know our country's and they make it sound like we say it <for example english is 'ìnglìsì in na'vi>

oe rey mì othlandì

I live in holland
so holland could be otxandì

if people could make it more na'vi please tell,
also if the sentence is wrong please tell me.

with your help we can create our worldmap in na'vi

so far we have:
Holland: Otxandì
Austria: Ästärrayk
Belgium: Bìllti'a
Australia: Ösralixga
France: Frängtze
Brazil: Rrzìl

I think the best way of translating names into Na'vi is:

1. Take the name used by the nation's citizens.
2. Examine the word, change it so that it doesn't contain sounds not used in Na'vi, replace them with similar but used sounds.
3. Spell it right.

For "Austria", that would be...

1. Österreich
2. Ö -> Ä, ch -> k
3. Ästärrayk

looks funny.

Yeah, the only time x appears is in tx, kx, and px.  Those are known as ejectives

wth will I do with Brasil since they doesn't have "B" or anything like it? XD  ???
maybe try to make the "r" (that has the same sound as in nari :P) look stronger, to 'cover' the missing "B"

Rrzìl

though I'm not sure if I can use the "rr" at the beggining of a word..

if not, i tihnk just "Rzìl" would go   :)

Brasil

the "r" has the same flap sound as in nari,
and the stress is at the "i"

I don't think you can drop the "a", though.

I'll let you find something for switzerland. ^^

But the difficulty with switzerland is that we don't say it the same depending on where we live. :)

You can have:

Suisse - French part
Schweiz - German part
Swizzera - Italian part

how about pxrrasìl?

It's an idea, but I would change the ejective "px" for a simple "p"

so Rrazìl, or Prazìl (Prazil sounds more like Brasil, but Rrazìl seems cooler :P)

btw, Prazìl also looks like remedy name hahaha

I'd suggest you reference the alphabet if you want a specific sound, you will have to aproximate from this list to make it fit.
