Is.

For those of you who want to hear more of Frommer speaking Na'vi, here's some:

http://graphics8.nytimes.com/packages/audio/magazine/20091129_LANGUAGE/navi2.mp3

He's saying:

-Yesterday I was with Txewì in the forest and we saw the biggest Trapper [type of carnivorous plant] I've ever seen.

-Those things are dangerous. They can kill a person, you know.

-I know. We were careful not to get too close.

Oh My Eywa, O.M.E.
This was very eye opening. In the film they said lines at what seemed to be a slower pace that was simply wow.

There's still more to come after Frommer gets together with the studio and discuss on Na'vi.

Haha, there's bound to be a whole load of grammar we don't know about.

lol, it'd be so funny if Frommer decided to bomb us with some super complex grammar XD

Thanks so much! I downloaded the song and the recording of 'hello'. Don't suppose you plan on making any more mp3 clips to download?
Avatar is a movie about a guy with blue balls running through the forest chasing tail.

Jaysc

well if i hear any useful parts, i'll put them on the list. thanks

I want to say, irayo n, i..... i learn better by hearing and this clip will help me lots. i kinda wish they would come out with a Rosetta Stone version of Na'Vi.. i would buy it quick..

Jaysc

Rosetta stone products are pretty expensive though... but it would be useful. By then, we would have more words, better understanding of grammer etc.

Did he say   Oel ngati kame   without the ei infix or did i hear wrong?
Personally i don`t take the Na`vi as alien because i think i understand them.

When I look on the news and see what horrible things are happening around the world I can`t help but wonder what is the source of them and therefore my own race is becoming more and more alien to me as time passes by.

Does that make any sense?
