SyenMakto:
im reallyyy new to this so maybe it's just my lack of experience with linguistics, but i dont understand a lot of the terms used here :( for example: glottal stop, ejective, and dipthong. Any help or links to good resources would be extremely helpful. Thanks :D

Tìtstewan:
Hey, wellcome!

Don't worry about it, we are here to help. :)

glottal stop = ' This is like a short stop as in "uh-oh" - "uh'oh"
ejective = px, kx, tx
Here are some sound samples:

tx - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d7/Alveolar_ejective_plosive.ogg
px - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/64/Bilabial_ejective_plosive.ogg

dipthong =
aw = aou - "noun"
ay = eye - "eye"
ew = Eh-w - "heyo"
ey = aey - "say"

I recall there being something called "Crash course in linguistics" on the main site...
Also, google/Wikipedia is your friend.
