Pronouncing that tricky R - The Alveolar flap

<< < (11/11)

Meynari Ke'nawm:
When you say anything with a rolled r in it, all you have to do is touch the roof of your mouth, relax your tongue, and blow out air in a puff. It works if you practice, but don't concentrate on just the rr part of the sentence, or it will sound like "pudrr" instead of "prr".
Remember to make the noise on the roof of your mouth, not the cheater way in the back of your throat.

Takmeyalan te Tsu'erak 'Ewfwefpìkxap'itan:
it's almost like a (t)th sound. just say the word, such as nari, like na'i, and then, instead of ('), say a REALLY soft (t). there. haha ;)
