pronunciation difference ?

do you just put stress on the é ?  ???

Plumps

Yup, that's pretty much it,
the difference in pronunciation is that you stress the first syllable in tute but the second/last in tute ;)

Same as if you say research or research

Tirea Aean

bacon vs begin

é pretty much only exists in that word as a stress differentiation. since the meaning changes based on which syllable is stressed

Some deeper explanation:
Depends on what you want to say :) What makes difference is stress (or akcent? I'm not good at linguistic terminology)
tute = person
tute = woman
tuté is the only word, where you can find é in Na'vi - it is used to exactly show in the written text, that you mean "woman", if it is not clear from the context.
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.
"Oe tasyätxaw ulte koren za'u oehu" (Limonádový Joe)
