Aww *blushes* You guys are too sweet! I'm very excited to get this process rolling, but Kaltxí is more the boss the anyone. Big Cheese, Godfather, Boss-man. He's awesome.

Have fun.

Kaltxì tsmukan,
I believe (like you said in the main post) that humor would make people not get bored on long segmants. Now, I'm not saying skits, but more like random humor pertaining to the subject at hand. A good example of this is Red Eye on Fox News.

My uncle's dog came over a little less than one week ago. I stupidly left the computer plug on the floor. That night, his dog chewed it up. So, the next morning, I go looking for the plug and I find a chewed up piece of metal. I sadly cannot purchase a new plug right now, and my computer's battery is out. I'm at my public library.

Also, I discovered this promising "small business" film company called Mirror Entertainment. It looks really promising: http://www.mirrorente

Can't say that I watch Fox News. Still with Palulukan I'd don't worry to much about the humor, he'll bring the silly in no problem! It'll take me a little while to get comfortable, but I'm pretty goofy now and then.

All I am saying to that is: "Don't be surprised if the show gets hijacked (for a few minutes) by RDA security in one or two of the first dozen episodes."
2022 update: Working on the new astrology book. "How to read tarot" books are on Amazon, if you are into that sort of thing.
Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

Those damn RDA always poking their nose in when it's not needed!

What's really scary is that i already have a macho "RDS Security" intro ready to record. hey! That was supposed to be a secret!. I am going now! (I need to learn how to say "dammit!" in na'vi)

I dont feel like getting quotes, just go along with it ;)

- I wasnt saying for the show to be 2-3 mins long, just that segment :P I know how A.D.D. people can be, so jumping around to keep interest helps. Though, if its 40 mins or so long, you can probably expand that to a 5-6 min segment.

- Awesome, im glad you already thought about a different highlight every week, I know that it can help to keep a continually interested fan base. Its also great that your going to cover our various projects, and not just the ones here in the projects/resources area. There are quite a few great fanfics, poems, stories (shameless plug) Forum RP's, and music to showcase each week. A "Linguistics corner" is sure to be helpful to many as well. Tailoring the show to the beginner to the advances will be the mark of a well thought out and designed LN.org podcast.

He is a great mod. Basically, all the moderators are great. Definitely, this is the best group of people I've ever been in contact with before. Well done  :)

Fail. I really should've picked a name that's easier for you...
or: try searching for *omum or kin* and you shouldn't have that much problems.
Seems like I'm the only one knowing on this forum :D

Still haven't found my idea, but that might be due to a whisky tasting yesterday and my cold... Head hurts.

I really have to apologize for my lack of ability to remember your name exactly. It shows poor taste and improper upbringing. I don' like making fun of people's names--ever. Yours is a good name. I just need to get in into my skull. I have the "k" part, and the omum part (finally), so I need to remember the intìo and I should be good to go. Unfortunately, my keyboard does not have a ì key, so I have to search for omum and see if that works.

Do you intend to do this project in or partly in Na'vi?
If not, a few parts in Na'vi with explaination, Something like 3-4 sentences and their constructions
If yes, you are crazy, but don't hesitate to ask if you need help thinking about and creating dialog in Na'vi

(I think I did a lot of english mistakes here, please forgive me)

Can't see anything wrong except that one part which's meaning I can't quite make out although I think I got a grasp on what you wanted to say...

As stated earlier: We'll most likely include a one-sentence-per-episode part...

Yeah, I think we will be dong some goofy "phrase of the day" thing, but a good amount of time will be devoted to helping people actually learn Na'vi (including us!), so that even if you are bored, you still "learn." :)

Phrase of the day will be good for the first few episodes, breaking down the needed Na'vi phrases like "I See you" will be starting points.

Damn it, I got so much fun here that I actually tend to forget my original reason to come here...

Okay, much honored and appreciated (well, I like you) mod. This is where I must take a stand for those of us who "just don't get it."

With all due respect: I don't get it. Really--at all. I understand how you got to the words (except for that "ìri" part, I thought suffixes were generally two-letter combinations, so this is above my skill-set), but they still seem like a jumble to me. If we are speaking Na'vi and I say something to the effect of "Drop the Chalupa!" or "I love Taco bell!" that seems easy enough to grasp. But, if you reply Children teachings for the sake of good, and add some topics and datives and ergs (remember this is not about you, it is about my own stupidity), I walk away with a jumbled mess. I have to reorganize words to make them make sense. How can we communicate if I have to keep stopping to unscramble words?

I have no doubt that what you wrote was "Frommer approved." I applaud, approve, and support your efforts and study. I know how much time it has taken, but when you say "Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?" my eyes glaze over. I am trying to decipher grammar while at the same time putting words in order. As I was taught, Na'vi word order is fluid, but the more Na'vi I see used here, the more the words are (purposefully? {and} routinely) placed in counter-intuitive structure. Please understand my frustration and help me omum.

I apologie for the "foul", maybe "crazy" is better? Is there a "polite" word to say that?
I didn't say that in a negative way, since I offered my help next...  ;D
