I am thinking just like you. Yet, I don't know where a meetup could take place (one per continent perhaps?).

Then, it looks like most people placed the project aside and focuses on their life and work, which is normal. Even before looking for any kind of place, I know think that it would be really good to train before trying anything. It is extremely uneasy and very radical to go from comfort to survival, and not really going the way people would expect. So I am rather trying to find a way of learning with experienced people before trying anything. But it seems like there is almost nothing to learn how to live and survive in natural environments in Europe.

You could probably start a new topic. This one has gone way out of subject since it was created.

I'm still here, and sadly, Blue Moon seems to have faced the same "fate" as Project Tribal - many active members have not been seen for months, and it's more silent than ever.
We did talk about real-life meetings already back in 2010, and planned to have one in 2011, then postponed it, and postponed it again, and... well.

There are quite a number of members of both projects in Europe, so we could have a meeting here.
Just DOING something might spark interest in people again.

I agree. And probably associating the two groups (not fusing them but trying to go forward together) might help to see more people interested gathering.

I think a voice conference could make it more easily than traveling ourselves somewhere, which is very expensive and not always easy to organize since several of us may work.

Good idea. A voice conference would be a really good idea to set up :)
Maybe a video conference too :)

I am joining it, if we can set it up
Tell me, a time when we can set this up. Just do it in the weekend time, when everybody have time to do something.

(sorry for ressurect)

Was there any videoconference yet? :)

As for my participation, I haven't signet to RLNT, but lurking here for a pretty long time now. Say something here, add something there, propose something there... I want to do a lot of things, but for some time, I want to try this experience. The "live on your own" way of life. And live in harmony with nature. Because that's something, I'll probably not experience this in a city or a nature in the middle of Europe, where you go for 2 hours tops and see at least one village. That's keeping me here, and will for quite some time...
This is my opinion on my activities here. So let here know, when you set up the (next) conference. I can't miss that! :D

Are you people available on Saturday evenings?

I am getting less interested in the RLNT project, so I might tell that I am possibly officially out of this project, and that's because more and more people get less interested, and it seems the project is meaningless.
So I will consider this now in the next few days, If I have decided, I will post a comment here again on this topic.

I'm just saying, this project looks dead to me. I'm just sorry I am telling this. But of course I will still stay here on the forum.

This is as you want.

I have to admit I can't figure out how to plan something to do with so few visibility and time. I still keep motivated, but it is really frustrating not finding a solution to our issue.

I have to agree, and I've said it (both here and at Blue Moon) for a long time, but some (far more optimistic and positive than me) waved it off with "We will find our way in time :)", or something similar.

I will not give up on finding this lifestyle, I have not changed my mind, but the project/s seem to be dead.

I am hoping that you guys finally manage in some small way to pull this off. From hearing you guys talk, it seems to be MUCH harder to do it in Europe, than in the United States.

Right now it is anyway difficult to find a window to organize anything without time.... or time management. This is personally my main issue.
