I have a bit of a dilemma. As a Jedi, I have to put the needs of the many above the needs of the few. I have to ensure everyone's happiness before my own. I do not know if I can leave everything behind. My family may need me and if I am with the Tribe then I won't be there. I could help the Tribe greatly, but I cannot make everyone happy. I have to put the needs of everyone above my own. But would my family want me to be happy? I won't be happy making them happy, but it is my duty as a Jedi. I am terrible at saying what I feel. I do not know if anyone will understand what I am saying. This thought occurred to me the other day and I have thought long and hard about it. I just don't know. I just do not know...

"A Jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind. This one a long time have I watched. All his life has he looked away... to the future, to the horizon. Never his mind on where he was. Hmm? What he was doing. Hmph. Adventure. Heh. Excitement. Heh. A Jedi craves not these things." -yoda

Seemed like a good place for a yoda quote.

Why do you want to leave? Are you happy where you are right now? Why do you think leaving is the right choice? What happens after you leave? These are all just a few of the sorts of questions you have to ask yourself if you want to come to a clear thought out decision.

I think that the ideal parent looks after their child's interests, thus this includes their happiness. I think they should support you if you do decide to do the tribe although I am going on what I believe to be the ideal parents not what is neccessarily the case here (although maybe they are IDK). Ultimately I think you should do what feels right for you, if you feel your place is with your family then go there, if you feel that you belong here then stay. I think that this is a question that only you can answer for yourself ^_^

I have asked myself those questions.

It is my opinion that most parents today want above all other things for their children happiness, and thus you would be fulfilling both aspects of your duty in that sense. I may be slightly bias in saying that, though, since it would make me happy as well to see a Jedi Knight among us ^_^ My advice- search for your answers inside of yourself, and find aid in that pursuit in your beliefs. I know that those are the conflict in this situation, but the honest truth is that you are going to do what you are going to do, so your morals and ideals are going to play heavily into it anyways. Just do what you think is right for you. Don't think about what we want you to do or what your family wants you to do, think about what YOU want to do, even if that means staying out and with your family, or leaving them to manage themselves largely. And besides, it's not like we're going to keep you prisoner- if you need to leave, that is acceptable, though we will be sad to see you go ^_^

Eh.  So your a Jedi?  Then what's The big problem?  If you reply needed to stay in the tribe, you'd just have to join the with and enjoy yourself. Why fuss about all this then?

I have decided that I will see this through to the end. Even if I am the only and last one to do so. I am here to stay!
