Hey thats great your in the best shape! I too do a lot of running and stuff ( not inspired by avatar ) In my woods i have about 36 acres to run through with uphill acuall cross river jumps ( stlll not used too ) and many other things. Now that I have taken a look at it in the long run its like I was inspired by the na'vi the whole time! I will try my hardest to get pics or a vid of my path on here.

Oh man, forest running is the best! I am so lucky to have a small forest near too, I can spend a lot of time there, going uphill and down. It is a feast as well as a challenge. It is the kind of running that keeps you most flexible too.

Forest running is wonderful, yes... but also forest walking. ;D When you see loads of interesting animals..

I agree. Once out running I changed to walking, sitting and even lying down. Too many animals out there to ignore. I saw a hawk, a fox, an owl (amazing in the daylight) and some deer crossing a forest path.

Having the eyes to see them and the time and care to watch and appreciate them is something beautiful.

Barefoot? Tewtì... How'd you train that?

My feet and the local forest floor don't agree... the floor would win. But I am with you on the rain. That makes the run awesome. The sound, the smell, the water on your skin.
