Green Anarchism

Green Anarchism: Solutions (Eco-Village and Tribal Forms)

In a sense, we are Anarchists with a purpose. This is THE perfect example of our goal, though Anarchism has most times lead to war and destruction, GREEN Anarchism is the perfect thing if pulled of correctly.

Thank you for your time(sss...zzz)

As Thomas Paine said, "That government is best which governs least."

Except then you have the issue of my quote; "The only government worse than any government is no government."

So I believe Anarchy would work in some situations, I don't know if it would work in our situation. Maybe a sort of pseudo-Anarchy, with just a basic system to keep people from going on murderous rampages.

Yeah, I think we're going to be kind of like that Anarchist-Communism, but with an Eyktan to prevent us from doing something stupid.

Or not. It's still pretty much up in the air right now.

well I think we decided if we are going to have an Eyktan he would have no real power just to call meatings to make decitions

but I think it might not be needed the Hadza do not have chiefs and they are like the perfect people

Interesting fact: the Hadza are in groups of around 10-30 people and in each group there are core members and the other members will switch groups when ever they want

I like the idea of sort of "family groups" within the tribe. These could also be a part of the education required to become a full initiate.

I do like the sound of a family withing a family. Like a load bearing pillar to keep the maine structure from collapsing. Sounds like a good idea to me :D

But you forget about family feuds. We don't want two families quarrelling. Then it's like two of the columns collapse, leaving the rest of the columns to support more weight. So were gonna have to plan this one carefully.

I didn't forget about them however, having a feud (which hopefully won't happen amongst such like minded people) is perhaps more recoverable from if contained within a small section of the community. If one pillar falters the rest are there to keep the pressure off the damaged pillar and support it more, allowing it to be prepared. If we are all one large family, then any disruption to the happiness of one individual could result in a ripple effect with the whole community getting involved and creating a huge mess. At least with small families such instances (let's hope not ;)) are contained and can be sorted out more easily. Plus, it has long been known that people can cope with a lot more problems as a tight nit family than they would otherwise be able to stand due to the strong emotional attachment each feels for one another.
