Leadership Positions( for the Short Term)

We have recently discussed introducing a number of leadership positionshttp://forum.learnnavi.org/real-life-navi-tribe/leadership-positions-the-vote/. Not as permanent positions for the real world tribe but as organizational roles, to speed up research and motivate members.

Unfortunately, selecting 5 separate leaders proved difficult. I still think this idea is worth pursuing and that the best course of action would be to vote on the two most important roles: a project coordinator and a motivational/welfare leader.

A project coordinator to oversee most tribe operations, set up plans of action, organise human resources, get people working essentially. The other important leader was motivation/welfare, someone to keep everyone interested, mediate disputes (haven't had any yet but who knows), and help integrate new members, basically: make the tribe a tribe.

What does everyone think? Once we have these leaders then we can work on other positions. If everyone agrees then the best course of action would be to put forward your names to either (or both) roles, then vote.

If we agree, I'll update the list of names on the first post.

It does seem like a good idea. I also think that more people checking out the Jobs board would help, as we need a few more people to help cover ground.

I am happy in any position, or no position, but would love to keep up the research.

Obviously, as a member of the EcoVillage, I'll be helping making money for any expenses we have. So, anything for that?

Updated for Tonbogiri. Eana, are you interested in either position? Fund raising (like you said) will be very important but I think it would be best to stick to these two positions first. Once they're decided we can sort out the other administrative roles. So keep it in mind when we get to it (hopefully in a week or so).
