Now that we've got the date and location set. I believe that we are now at the most critical point in the project. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CAN DEFINITELY ATTEND. If you have said you will come, now is the time (if you need to discuss it with parents or something) to make sure you can do this. This is important as for most of us (me included) there is a lot of travel involved. Before we run in haste and book tickets, please make sure you can attend. It will be unfair on others if you have said you can come and you are unable to attend as this will be incredibly inconvenient for most of us if this collapses at the latter stage of this project. i'm also going to talk to my parents tomorrow (i know i'm 21 already but still live with them so it's only for the best that i let them know what i'm going to do). Let you know as soon as possible.

I've got a knew question: what're wegoing to do for food? is it allowed to hunt there? And what if the hunt is not succesfull?
Maybe we should go een further with this try-out and talk about what's really forbidden to bring on this meetup. If i'm going to far just let me know but i'm really looking forward to the real thing so maybe i wanna let this be as much "Real thing" as possible.

Ever eaten Rabbit? cause that what your diet will probably consist of. Of course your not allowed to hunt there its army land but i know my way around and the ranger thats ate out there are total retards. and im bringing a couple 24 hour ration packs (if i can find any) so you wont go hungry.

If you say guns (for not brining) im saying f*** that cause your not gonna shoot a rabbit with a bow (unless your awsome or very lucky) i want to minimise waepons brought along ( i would advise) to a knife for each (Dw if you dont own one, i own many) my air rifle( got a sling which i can put it in) and maybe 1 bow

but this isnt my project im just gonna be an advisor cause of teh area

Just to be sure. Twonyu, is there still a chance that you might make this year? Maybe we would be better off with a differebt location if you can't make it as I for one don't want to be running around MOD land with no clue about the area. I've had you on the list of members who are unsure if they can make it but would be good to know ASAP. Irayo

With regards to food, I have a few ideas about what we should do but that will be open for dicussion after we've definately nailed the date and whether or not twonyu can make it. Please do not worry eywa´eveng, we will be discussing everything thoughroly later. For now just need to see how many people can defintately make this.

But there are many problems :
- I will be totally lost when I will arrive in London, so we have to know who takes the fly, when he arrives so we can meet up in the airport (or someone need to come before we arrive).
- We can't have a knife or something like this in the fly
- We have to be careful for the return, don't miss the fly ... but we need to back together, not alone (one time again, for not to be lost)

- The problem of food, if we can't hunt or something like this.

Have been thinking over potential problems. Much depend on if Twonyu can make this.

Have added a new location - The New Forest.
Two hrs from London by car.
It is a national park, so we'd have to be very gentle with the environment (no shooting wild deer, for example) but we wouldn't have the military on our backs.
If there are too many tracks/walkers/cyclists around, we can make our camp on the outskirts.

EDIT: Darn it! looks like there's no wilderness camping allowed there either! Can you believe that we'd have to go all the way to Dartmoor to avoid legal trouble? Aaaargh!

I've checked with other wilderness campers, and they say that as long as you say that you're hikers and only stopping for one night, then they let you off. So New Forest still a possibility...

The New Forest looks good, don't know how we'd convince them we were there for one night if we are still there after few days though.....
