I'm more accustomed to DreamWeaver, so I couldn't help out unless the site was going to be made off of DW.

I can always "run it" myself. Meaning that I'd do the updates, while everyone states what they believe can be on there. Also, I might be able to set the page as a 'wiki,' meaning anyone may edit it. It's up to you and the community, of course. Please don't think I'm trying to "take the fame," if you will.

Lastly, how is Dream Weaver? My computer is too full to try it out.
My uncle's dog came over a little less than one week ago. I stupidly left the computer plug on the floor. That night, his dog chewed it up. So, the next morning, I go looking for the plug and I find a chewed up piece of metal. I sadly cannot purchase a new plug right now, and my computer's battery is out. I'm at my public library.

Also, I discovered this promising "small business" film company called Mirror Entertainment. It looks really promising: http://www.mirrorente

Maybe some google wave esque thing? I dunno how extensive your program is but it would be cool if was like a live updated thing. Like forum mixed with IM.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that Google Product. Either way, from what I see and heard there are too many features in WebPlus, and I'm not just saying that. That would be really cool if it would be live updated, but to be honest I don't know how to do that. I can post a Twitter "thing" there, or even a Facebook, but I don't know if "live updating" works with every website out there if the website doesn't have that feature. If you'd like to find out more, go here: http://www.serif.com/support/learning-zone/webplus/x4/

Scroll down and you'll find instructional videos on the software. One feature (that I find really cool, but doesn't help out in any way) is an image cutout program that is built in. It takes a photo and, using easy tools, cuts out the area you want. There is a video there which will help you find out more. It definitely looks really cool. It got good critic & user reviews, too.

Going back to having our own site, I think this is a good idea because personally I don't think having all the information we've discussed and established open to the public (we don't want the evil tawtute media getting wind of our plans afterall). My thoughts are that it would be best if we had some recruiting information and then had the actual website/forum as invite only

Good point, don't want the idea crushed before it gets off the ground. Not saying our forum users would try and do this but yeh, the media attention for this plan would not be good :(.

It is possible to make it (at-least with my program) as: example.serif.com --- These types are very rarely found on search engines. With this I can also set it as private, where only links posted by the web "manager" (sorry, I can't think of the official term) can access it.

Ah, ok. My High School has the software, too. Enjoy the class!

I've been through the first course, after 1 incident he didn't like me much. But being a teacher, they forget students quickly. So I should just fall through the course.

Eh, I think that Dreamweaver is kind of a cop-out. How hard is it to actually learn HTML and CSS? Good ol' TextPad is all I need.

What ever we decide to use, if we can't host it here, why shell out the extra bucks for a domain until later? You can host it on my site.

That is what I love about webplus x4 (the web design software I spoke about before). No knowlage of HTML required. I got it today, and it is truly great. An example of a quick website I set up for updates on the future of my project: mpandoraln.webplus.net

Yeah, but then you become dependant on it, and without it you just go "uhh...". It's much better to actually take the time to learn it; you'll have so much more freedom.

I've learned most HTML and CSS, so I'm good there. If that's how we decide to do it, I'll do the graphics and CSS.
