Eawnyu te Tisorina'Srusiyu'ite

Eawnyu her mind swam with the morphine she tried to keep herself still as she felt the strange pressure on her ribs. she wondered if her armband was damaged from what they did with it. she wanted to look but just didnt seem to have the energy. She tried reaching for Apxeyo through bond, her mind stumbled along like she was drunk, the room seemed to spin as she tried to reach for him for comfort. her fear was only enhanced as her  mind spun...she closed her eyes and tried to focus.. the harder she tried to reach the further it seemed.....she screamed his name in her mind...

a few minutes pass and her mind gets a little clearer. she twitches as Miles probes the bullet holes. she resists the urge to punch him as sharp pain rips through her insides where he's probing. She hisses as feeling starts to slowly come back.

NAH, what are you doing? she grinds her teeth together trying so sit still, trying to be brave and not cry.  She grabs Apxeyo's hand and holds it to her, trembling as she tries not to move.

Time goes by. Seconds seems like hours. All the feelings from her slowly disappear, vanishing into nothingness. Apxeyo looks at her with need to know how she feels. He can't read anything from her mind but he can read fear on the traits of her face.

A long while later, a little tingling sensation breaks up through the bond and her eyes twitch in pain a few times. The tingling slowly take form. It's a sound. A name. Apxeyo's name. She is screaming. Scared. In pain. In a lot of pain. It is not working anymore. The morphine is gone already. All of her muscles tenses up. All of his muscles tenses up. He yells: "NAH, what are you doing?".

All the strong emotions forced her to get control over his body. It is said to be the fastest and strongest way to seal a bond. Force control. Apxeyo gets his senses and the control of his body back. He tries to think about good, positive emotions. A thought... He needs a positive thought to calm her...

I love you too much to let you go! You hear me! Don't! Let! Go!

The twitching was getting more intense as the Na'vi's body processed the morphine a lot faster than anticipated. His time was running out. The sense of urgency only culminated with the screaming of both of them in unisons at him. "Ach, I'm almost there, I need to check for shrapnel and find the--" Oh, Oh god. If that's the same thing as it is in a Human body then... Oh s***. His face went from urgent to stunned and appalled. All color was lost in his face as the eyes widened at what he saw. The bullet had not only mushroomed, but it had torn through the right fallopian tube, churned a section of the uterus, and lodged itself in the pelvic bone. He couldn't remove that with this little left of the morphine affecting her body. To do as much would cause her to enter shock, and possibly coma from the shear level of pain.

Twitch turned around and looked frantically in his pack for something, anything that would make this easier. Bottle of this antibiotic, bottle of that antiseptic, but no pain killers. He checked. He re-checked. Then he checked once more. There was nothing. He grabbed a small piece of balled up leather and then looked over at Apxeyo. "The next part of the procedure is gonna be hell. Nothing short of that, and even that doesn't describe it. She is coming out of the morphine and the bullet is lodged deep. I need to remove it or she may never walk again. The thing, I'm afraid of being thrown across the room from the pain. I need you to hold her down, and she needs to bite on this to protect her teeth. I'm ready to go when you are, but we need to do this now, why there is some pain killer in there." Twitch dreads what will happen next and he hands Apxeyo the bite.

Meuia te Stxeli Tstew'itan

Apxeyo's nod firmly then look at the point where their queue are connecting. A bad feeling run across his spine. It is already painful enough. Anymore would be only causing trouble, preventing him from helping her. Look, I will need to break the bond for now or I won't be able to help you. A sour taste sprouts in his mouth as the link is severed. It feels sur-real... so calm...

Frìp fì'u. He says while placing the piece of leather just over her mouth.
Bite this.

She reach for it in a swift movement and already press hard against it with her jaws. He moves over her kneeling over her chest and holding her hands. He wave at the Na'vi who took care of him before and ask him to pin her legs down. Her body is now completely locked to the table. She can't move an inche.

Apxeyo looks in Eawnyu's eyes and smile a bit. A forced smile but still... He tries not to think of the pain she will endure...

Bile wells in her mouth as the link is severed. She whimpers as they hold her to the table, tears leak from her eyes down the sides of her face. Her breathing increases with fear, her tail lashes slapping her leg as her eyes squeeze shut. She waits for Miles to start what ever he's gonna do. She starts crying in earnest now, not caring whether or not the other Na'vi think her less brave.

Dear Eywa help me, help me get through this. she prays.

Twitch watches as the two Na'vi pin her down. It was more than he could bare. He was no damned doctor, yes he had field medic skills, but no disconnect from his patience. He wasn't a cold bastard that dispenses medications and made you turn around and cough. He was human, and his conscious could only handle so much. Yet, he couldn't allow it to overwhelm him. Not now.

He activated the lamp on his mask and grabbed the scalpel, a bone saw, and the clamps. With tears in his eyes, and already staining his face, he moved in to the wound. Putting two reverse clamps at each end of the wound, he opened her up wide. Eawnyu tried to buck as the wound opened up, screams of pain and torment writhing through the leather bit. Twitch twitched, looking away for a second, before he took his focus back to the wound.  He went in and removed the remnants of the destroyed fallopian tube and began to clean the blood that poured in from around. Soaking up what he could, he pushed the damage uterus out of the way to expose the bullet lodged against her pelvis.

Lucky enough, it missed any major artery on the way in. He was clad he didn't need to deal with that, but that didn't matter. He took a clamp and wrapped it around the bullet. He looked at the two Na'vi once more and, attempting to hold back his tears, he choked, "Hold her tight... here we go!" They pushed down hard on her, pushing her down, but dear Jesus did she buck. The screams were deafening, even with the leather bit blocking most of it. Twitch hesitated as he tugged a little. He was at his breaking point, that proverbial no return of sanity. With what nerve he had left, he gripped that glamp like it was his life and pulled. He tugged, and tugged, each time the screams dulled those of a banshee, and the wracking made a bull look meek. He tried and tried, and nothing. It didn't budge, it didn't come loose, it didn't break free.

He let loose, and just went limp for a single second. It was no use... There was no more he could do. He tried and tried and nothing budged. Insanity began to set in, and chaos took hold. He morale was gone and his nerve had left. He looked at the Na'vi and began to chuckle a little. A chuckle that was just as quickly over powered by tears and sobs. Then a feeling he didn't expect kicked in. Rage. Rage, pain, anguish, remorse. Remorse for not being able to do something. Anguish for coming so close. Pain for the pain she was feeling. Rage for the bastard who did this to her. In some set of blood curdling madness, he grabbed that clamp one more time and pulled hard. In a strange twist, a crack of the bone was heard as just enough gave way to allow the bullet to release.

He stumbled backwards and was stunned at what was in his hand. Stunned at not only the physical representation, but the Joy, the Triumph that kicked in. Quick he tossed the clamp aside and grab his suture and began to work on closing the wound up. First he worked on the uterus, closing the damage that had been caused. Once that was done, He removed the reverse clamps and then NuSkinned the wound shut. With the skin together, Twitch stepped back, smiled, and then broke down into tears. He slowly reached for the pistol on the floor, chambered a round, and ended the insanity once and for all.

Apxeyo smiles in return both to his love, Eawnyu, and to Twitch. He sees the gun pointed right at his temple and he knows what is going to happen. It is just something you can feel, down in your guts. He runs for his new friend who just saved the most important person of his life. He reaches for him, extending his gigantic arm trying to push the gun away. The moment he can feel the metal on the tip of his fingers, a loud noise come from the inside of the weapon. It is already too late. A fraction of a second too late...

Twitch!

Apxeyo lets his body fall to the ground in front of the corpse. He places what is left of the head on his knee and close his eyes in pain. A group of Na'vis rush in the hut wondering what just happened. Everyone already inside is in a deep, profound shock. Most people don't know what a human is doing in the Tsahìk's hut, but those who do have a perfect memory of what he did. No one understand why he killed himself. The real reasons are only known to him who died after doing the bravest act of his life.

Poan nawma tute lameiu... He says, crying over his friend. Now, he can only pray for Eywa to take care of him.
He was a great man...

Eawnyu jumps at the sound and sits up quick. she gasps in pain as she does. She tries to get up and go to Apxeyo.

scht! Apxeyo, Twitch? she sees them on the floor. Dear Eywa, Twitch!! she covers her mouth in shock and starts crying again. She tries to go to them and hits the floor on her hands and knees, holding her side, grimacing in pain.

ExLibrisMortis

She screamed in pain way above what her lungs could normally produce. Bloodcurdling the air as with a cacophony of wails and shrieks. The pain was unbearable and much more than anyone should have to bear. She tried to remember her breathing practices, the training to dull the pain. Through the pain she began to breathe. In, In, out. In, in, out. In, In, Out. Over and over she did this until the next jolt of pain slammed home. The banshees wail filled the room until she began breathing once more.

For almost 5 hours this had gone on. With technology these days, no one should have to suffer these experiences. There was no logical reason to go through with something like this. Yet, she chose to partake in this seemingly sacred act. Yet, to the doctors, it was chaotic, it was madness. Drugs had been offered, the normal procedures had been strongly suggested, the serenity and been presented. Nevertheless, she pushed them all aside for him. All she did now was for him, go give all she could to him. Her life didn't matter, her pain didn't matter, her suffering was nothing in comparsion to the glorious gift she was now bestowing to him.

The clock had almost struck the 6th hour when a development happen. The head had appeared. He was making his way into the world and it took but one final push to bring this boy to life. In a last effort, every ounce of strength was conscripted to the call, and the final push made. The boy came free and was checked for any ailments. In contrast to the past 6 hours, no wails or screams came from the infant. Only the soft cooing and beauty of a newly born boy. Quickly they gave the boy to its mother and she smiled. After many hours of labor, she smiled and cried at her new son.

A little later, totally exhausted, Jessica awoke, laying there in the bed on her back. The morning light poured into the window and illuminated the resting room  in which bot her and her baby lay. She had a towel on her head as she cocked it to one side to see the child laying in it's crib. She was too weak to hold the child, but soon enough, she would raise it and give it all it wanted. A nurse came in the room to check both on the baby and it's mother. Noticing the mother to be awake, she walked over to check her vital sign. During the process, the nurse made mention that no name was given to the boy, and if she had thought of anything yet. Jessica looked at the baby and said softly... "Christian, Christian Irving."

A little later, totally exhausted, Eris awoke, laying there in the webbing on her back. The flood lam light poured into the Samson's window and illuminated the crew hold in which the entire team lay. She had fresh gauze wrapped on her head. She cocked her head to one side to look at the teenager that laid in the webbing next to her. She was took we to grab the teenager, but soon enough she would raise it again, giving it all it needed. One of the other phantoms in the Samson looked back from his machine gun and asked another who the kid was. Noticing Eris to be awake, the medic moved over and checked her vital signs. During the process, the medic made mention that no name had been found out about this kid yet, and maybe she knew something.  Eris looked at the child as it slept and said softly... "Christan, Christian Irving, my son."

The flight of helicopters came if from the east, and came in hard. Breaching the outer defenses at all due haste, they rushed for the sanctuary that only Hell's Gate could offer on Pandora. All the crew was relieved once within the almost impenatrable defenses that dotted the walls. As the birds of prey landed, teams of Phantoms came up and covered the Tsahik. They carried her away to the Avatar side of the compound and locked her up in a storage hut, and placed guards all about it. Two Amp suits stood as a testament to human ingenuity, and the guards in the towers, that lined the fences, keep the sigil lights burning as they watch the hut.

Bob and Noel, who were in a separate Samson, were told to meet immediately at the Colonel's office for debreifing and a new misison awaited. Eris and the boy were taken to the med bay, in which Eris would watch over the care of the child as it would awaken in a few hours from the tranquilizers it had received. About the same would be happening for the Tsahik too. And both of them would share the same type of attire as they woke, medical gowns.

Slowly Michael drifts out into unconsciousness...

... and he wakes up in his human body.

Without hesitation, he jumps out of the link and grabs the emergency space suit and parachute, puts them on, and without consideration for the rest of Site 27, goes out of the Site, space-jumping down to Pandora, aiming himself straight toward the Ikran tribe.

It seemed like forever before it felt like he really was moving toward Pandora.  After beginning to feel the friction of the atmosphere against him, he deploys the chute.

... and he waits to land.  It seems like forever...

Nearly an hour later, he finally sees where he is heading on the ground... and it sure wasn't the tribe.  He was, once again, landing in oceanic waters off the coast of the tribe...

Michael realizes he has nothing that is going to help him stay afloat.  His parachute would only drag him down, and the waters, even in this tame weather, is still too violent, and the waters were approaching quickly...

Trying his best, he grabs the strings of the parachute, trying to steer it toward land.  Any land would do at this point...

Almost touching the water, a gust raises him back in the air... and he was glad for a moment, only to see he was heading straight toward the cliff. Quickly pulling the strings in a panic, the chute deflates and he lands hard in a cave in the cliff, breaking his right elbow in the process.

GAAAAAHHHHHH Michael screams in pain.  He clenches his arm, eager to find any sort of help.  After getting up and looking around, arm twitching in traumatic stress.  He sees a body in the corner, and runs toward it, only to see that it is his avatar...

DAMMIT! Michael swears, realizing that he now has nowhere to go.  He's trapped in the cave.

Without thinking, he goes to the edge of the cave and yells out for help.

HEY!  HELP!! I'M TRAPPED AND MY ARM IS BROKEN!

Apxeyo leave Twitch on the ground and run for his love, carefully placing her back on the table. She is fine. The medecine the human used are really effective. That thing he put on the wounds work very well and prevent bleeding a lot more effectively than anything the Na'vi have. But she still needs to rest.

He only think about what he will do for him. "He deserve a real death ceremony. He was good person." He think while placing Eawnyu's arms on her side. Apxeyo can't wait to be back in shape again. He already decided what he will do now. He needs his ikran and he wants to get his friends back.

with numb feeling to her brain, like grogginess she never felt before, Eani wake in a hut unlike any she has ever known... clentching her hands and toes her tail slowly moves back and forth like a sleepy cat... her head feel strange and light weight and a bit soar like she was hit in the head by that tree branch again.... images of the ambush flood into her vision... and she shoots up with a bit of pain to her head Eawnyu... Apxeyo... where am I?? ugh my head... Eani goes to put her hands to her head... only to find a small trace of hair.... all but her queue was shaved off...

a moment of panic and rage gets the best of her as she finally realizes she isn't in her own cloths... and nothing is right... moving her head to each side to feel  for anything she had on... nothing... empty holes in the cartilage of her ears, the lobes just slit where her earnings were just ripped out... her face was a but in pain, her nose was slit on the top and one of her cheeks was bleeding... what was she wearing??? some white cloth with light blue spots on them... she felt powerless stripped of any indicator of who she was.... the sounds of footsteps outside the walls and voices... human voices.... she must be at one of their villages... the smell of smoke and many humans confirms the conclusion...

feeling the bruises on the rest of her body where they must have beet her, rage and fear blurs Eani's vision as memories fly though her mind's eye as she sees her family her past her pain everything she tried to let go all boiled to the surface and flows over anything she new.... with no desire to hold anything back now, and no one to see her fear, Eani screams for the first time since before the fire...

Once the sampson, Bob and Noel were in had landed they were given direct orders to head straight to the Colonels office. Bob got out with extremely quickly and started to head into the building, whilst Noel was still a bit groggy. Bob was interested in how the debrief will go and what his next mission could be.

He power walked across the hangar then into the main building then up to the Colonel's office. He placed his duffel bag just outside the door. He knocked on the door and was asked to come in. Instead of the usual salute with the hand on the forehead, Bob had to do a weapons salute as your right hand is not allowed to leave the weapon, especially when doing drill.

Sir, shall we go straigh to the debrief or wait for Dr. Fisher?

When Noel was inside, he was doing fine. Then he and bumped into Grace.

Noel!? What are you doing here, you should be at Site 26....

Someone send us back here, those soldiers, I've never seen them before. They told me that I had to report to the Colonel.

But did you still remember what I told you.

Yes... Look out for Bob. And I am, I would never thought he would get all the gear so easily. He must be doing something for Quaritch, I can't think of anything else.

Just act normal and you will be fine.

It was pleasing to the ears to hear the scream as he approached the hut. Everything was situated back inside Hell's gate and Quaritch was going to handle the other two, so Ikaika was ready to go ahead and get this over with with the Tsahik. The hut she was in was made with a steel frame and steel roofing. It had been covered with local foliage and bamboos to make it look like an actual hut.

When he walked up, the two Amp suits made a small salute and Ikaika motioned the door to be open. The gun from the nearest guard tower turned to track the hut in case anything happened. The other Amp suit stood just outside the door with its gun trained on the Tsahik. There was more than enough room for the Na'vi, Ikaika, and an AMP suit to stand inside, but Ikaika went in alone. Nothing but his straight silver at his side, he smiled with a sinister grin as the door closed behind him.

"So, Let's begin shall we. What is your name?"

"Ok, well two can play this game." Ikaika states as he grabs a data slate by his side. It contains all the data and intel gathered by Bob and other recon groups on the tribe. "According to this right here," he holds the slate and it shows her face and her name there. Of course its in the earth characters, but Ikaika continues, "Your name is Eani, at least for short. You are the Tsahik of the tribe along the coast line. In your mid 30's, no?" He says all this with a little smirk in his face and a superiority in his voice.

"Well, let's see. You see, your home seems to be sitting upon something that we want. We are willing to offer some 'assistance' in helping you move, but your time to move is running really thin."
