I really want to join a good Na'vi RP but I don't want to if there aren't any active ones.  So my question is,

How many of these RPs are actually active?

Sometimes joining a RP that isnt that active makes it active. But for now, try the Halo-RP, its the most-active one atm.

Like I said join other RP's too, it might make them active, one or two RP's on here arent that succesfull, but you can look at them too.

i'm going to be starting a new RP... i'm fairly active in my RP... well when other people post so it doesn't look like i'm hogging the board... but since its going to be my rp i think it would be ok for me to over post... just need to see if others will join.

We just re-started "Storm Over Pandora" again after a brief hiatus (well, okay, it was a few months) but we're rolling along again. We post an average of about once a week at least, so it is not a grueling affair to keep up. When we first started, we'd do, maybe, 2-3 posts a day sometimes (whew!) and it slacked down to once a day, then once every 2-3 days... now it seems to have leveled off to about 1-2 a week for those participating.

It is (in my opinion) good-quality writing (I admit I'm biased) and we have done well to not sacrifice story quality for volume.

That is what matters Coyote, the quality. I'm having fun on the one that I am on, and if the writing is good, and you are having fun, you really can't ask for any more.

I'd like to join one too. a new one, so i can have a sort of evolving charecter (thats spelt wrong, i can just tell). i wrote a post about it like a few months ago, but only one person ever replyed.

I don't see why you couldn't invent your own character, and let it "grow" in personality, unless that is strictly forbidden on the site that you are looking at. Oeyä yawnetu and I both did that on the RP thread that we are on, She is "driving" one character, and I am driving two.

no i know, but i want to be part of a story i have a say in from the start. i dont think i'd really want to join one where everyone and everything was already established, and then i'd have to read page after page of the old rp bits in order to get what was happening

Ahhh, but if the RP is well-written, with good characters, witty dialogue, a firm plot, and easily followed advances in plot, then it is not a chore to read through, but like enjoying any other story!  ;) (Shameless plug, heh!)
