I went out to stargaze but the transparency was horrible. I only got to see the Pleiades and M42 as DSOs. The Moon was hazy through the telescope but the details were clear and sharp.

I went by the new 4-story house building that's still under construction and by this summer I'll probably need to walk a few more dozens of meters to stargaze with my telescope.

We haven't talked much about Betelgeuse. It seems that it will stop dimming by February 21st +/- 7 days.

Yeah, that decrease of brightness was really significant, we will see how it really will be in next days.

I had clear sky tonight so I went to observation few hours before morning. Despite strong moonlight it was good, because sky conditions were very good.
For moonlight I observed mostly double stars + I tried also globular clusters which were great despite moonlight.

Doubles stars - I observed mostly very close pairs + few cassic pieces like as Algieba, Izar, Castor.
Globular clusters - I observed bright Messiers globulars + few NGC globulrs. The most nice were M53 and fainter NGC5634, which is my favourite, because his interesting position betveen one orange and one bluish star (both these stars are wery close to this globular cluster).

Back from short stargazing Sky was "polluted" by moonlight and transparency was terrible but seeing was excellent so I observed some close double stars + few known bright pairs like as Mizar, Cor Caroli and Algieba.

So I finally stargazed a bit. The sky was not fully transparent and it was very cold outside, but I had specific purposes which didn't require excellent sky conditions.

Before dinner I observed Mercury and I took pictures.

After dinner I observed the Moon as well as a few DSOs: M41, M42, "M45", the double cluster, the 37 cluster and NGC 2264.
