(just a thought, in case someone wants to try it.)

there's an experiment where you take a flower, and put it in water that has food coloring.
The result is usually the flower changing color, according to the color of the food coloring.

i remember a thread about someone that made pandoran-looking food for supper, which made me think.
What if you take an entire plant, say green beans or onions maybe, put it in a flower pot, and only water it with water mixed with food coloring?
orange green beans, blue onions, ect.?

just a thought

Human No More

Some plants would probably take to it much better than others, primarily ones with little of their own pigment, but it should be doable.
