I've heard of this but never actually seen anyone like it.

tHE CLOSEST i HAVE ACTUALLY SEEN WAS A GUY WHO HAD ACCIENTALLY TURNED HIMSELF BLUE BY DOSING HIMSELF WITH  COLLODIAL SILVER ! idk SOUNDS KINDA DANGEROUS THAT WAY!

Seze Mune

Well, the closest I've actually seen is this:

But there is this guy out there...

"Paul says he saw an ad in a magazine for something called a colloidal silver generator that said colloidal silver was useful for treating conditions including petroleum poisoning. "So I ordered the generator and I'd go see [his friend] every day. We'd each make a glass of colloidal silver and we'd drink it," he says.

"Paul says the drinks he and his friend had weren't particularly strong—a 10-ounce glass with no more than 10 parts per million of silver. Still, what made Paul—who didn't have petroleum poisoning—take a drink? "I figured I might as well drink it, too, if it was such wonderful stuff," he says. "I wasn't going to say, 'Here, take this.' I thought the kindest thing to do would be to take it with him just to make him more comfortable with the idea."

"After he started his daily silver cocktail with his friend, Paul says his acid reflux disease disappeared. "In less than three days, that was just gone," he says. "I thought, 'That's good.' So I kept taking it...

"...Paul has so much silver in his body that he has a condition called argyria. "You know how you get silver in a photographic plate, when it gets exposed to sun it turns a color? Well the same thing happened to you," Dr. Oz says. "You basically tattooed your entire body with this silver."

"Dr. Oz says Paul may need to get used to those stares—for the rest of his life. His skin will never return to its natural color. "You've been drinking it long and you've been putting it on your skin," he says. "So it's in your liver and your brain, which is why sometimes it can cause seizures if it gets to high enough amounts."

And here is the blue skin disorder:

And then again, we always have these changlings:

Mystique was actually all painted on, virtually, she was naked in the movie. The blue guy at the bottom is from... The Watchmen. I hated that movie.

The guy at the top I knew about, he took minute amounts of silver for some presumed ailment (I did not read your write-up on that) and it turned his skin blue.

TEWTI NANG!  That fellow who turned silver doesn't even have a nice blue to show for it and his silver content may even have damaged his liver and his brain!  I wonder if the BLUE MEN GROUP are poisining their bodies.  They paint themselves so often. I would think that some of it has to be absorbed into their blood stream through their skin tissue.

I have watched friends die from liver disease, and while it is obvious that I have ZERO fear of death, (just ask Ateyo), that is one way that I am NOT leaving this space time continuum.
ANYTHING that a V.A. doctor tries to give me I check up on in my copy of the PDR. If there is ANY chance that it can attack the liver, I just throw it away on the way home from the V.A. health Clinic, and every time that they send it tome as a refill. I currently do that with about half the junk that they try to get me to take so that their transplant surgeons can stay in practice.

You are very wise to check out the meds in the PDR before you put them in your body.  Most of the time, doctors rely on their drug reps to tell them the indications and contraindications of the meds - they don't actually research them, themselves.  And oftentimes they aren't aware of the interactions between what they prescribe and what you're already taking.  Being proactive is always the best way to go, imo.

Especially the VA... you need Tinactin for your feet? Here, try this instead. You need this specific pill your civilian doctor prescribes? Try this instead and let's see if you have side effects. VA facilities, especially the in patient clinics really push this and what's worse is the fact that even when those places come with a library for their patients, those patients are very VERY restricted on what they can search on the internet... in White City for instance one cannot even look up the word 'aspirin'.. blocked. ANYthing medical. Anything YouTube as well... esentially blocking 90% of the web based news as most of those articles are now interspliced with a youtube video webcast.

With the VA it is INTENTIONAL, this Countries Veterans are the unknowing, unpaid LAB RATS for the Drug Company's.
I don't even HAVE a subscription to the VA's computer site. I am NOT registered, and WILL NOT register. There is a short list of drugs that I will take from them, and NOTHING ELSE. They give me something else, I throw it out.

Yes Niri Te. They are not my overall favorite either. I got what I needed from them, the tools to help me retain my alcohol sobriety and managed to quit smoking cigarettes in the process... for that I am grateful, but the drugs. No thank you.
