I just finished booking my hotel room for the July meetup. Until I mentioned the Avatar community, they were sold out for the 9th. So if you haven't booked your room, do it NOW!

And if you need any dates beyond the 8th, 9th and 10th, they are charging north of $200/night. So, the discount we are getting $128/night is pretty good considering tier prevailing rate.

They will also try to sell you a 'Traveler's Advantage' package that will cost you $18/month (and they try to get you to sign up by offering $40 cash back on your reservation). Unless this sort of thing appeals to you (perhaps if you travel frequently and like staying at Travelodge), this is nothing but a cash drain. Caveat Emptor  (Is there a Na`vi equivalent?)

Wou!  I also want to add that I only have 5 single and 5 double rooms on hold for our group so please buddy up to keep rooms available for other clan members. Unless of course you have some kind of special need and you want privacy. That's ok That's part of the reason I also reserved single rooms.
