If this were to happen on a Saturday in June, July or August 2011, who would come? How many people would you bring with you?

I'm in for 1 (me) and dragging Josh along = 2.

     Total so far = 8

June, July or August would work for me.  I'd probably need 2 days to drive up since I can't afford to fly.  Hey, anyone in the Houston area want to drive with me?  We can take my car and I could take 3 passengers easily with luggage.

Wish I could... already have other plans for August, and there is only so much vacation I can take. So sorry...

What about 2012?

Is is better for people to wait until the following year?

Would we be talking about June, July or August of 2012 instead?  I couldn't do anything for that long that was January to April.  It's Tax Season and I work for H&R Block.

The summer season is probably better... both for the weather there and for the folks who are students.

holy c*** holy c*** holy c*** O MU F***ING GOD I CANT BELIEVE IT!!! I mean i am so completly flipping out right now!!! thank you thank you thank you for this info!!!  ;D ;D ;D mustcalmdownicantthinkOMGthisisbeyondepic!!! (tryes to calm down. horribly fails in a good way.) I am sooooo going to this. I visit Seattle every summer but only for like an hour or two between plane flights. i am going to make my parents fly me there for a whole day, and im going to take pictures of everything and videotape everything OMG i havent felt this epically excited since the movie!!! if cameron were here I would kiss him for being so overly epic!!! TTTTTHHHHAAAANNNKKKK YYYYOOOOUUUU!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm within an easy travel distance from Seattle, so add me for whenever, and possibly one more if I can drag one of my Seattle friends along for the ride...

i would love to meet you! OMG things are so falling in place. maybe if i catch up to you we could talk about writing styles and stuff cause you know how muchh i love your work.  ;D

EDIT: took some time to read all posts (and calm down) so i have a question: if we all deside to meet up in pandora, regardless of when it opens, what date can everyone do? i mean i think im leaving for Ohio to see my dad in the first week of june i dont know yet. can we set up a official meet up date once the museums opening date is offically set?

Definitely for me. I already have a basic plan to come over then, around May, so June would also work. I plan to combine it with a visit to Florida to see a friend I have not seen for an age and 3 weeks, and it can get a tad warm there so I don't want to hit their hot season. I'd be reduced to a Na'vi puddle, which can't be fun.

Everyone is free to choose of course. I'd love to meet up with a few folks, but May/June 2012 is still a jump to the future.

Yes. My response about May or June was in reaction to Prrton's option for 2012, not 2011.

I would love to come to this, but there's absolutely no way i'll be able to afford this trip next summer.  I'm already going to England in June *cough* and a Harry Potter con in July *cough* and then assuming i get into the program i'm applying to i'll be moving to Boston in August...  It's just gonna be way too crazy for me next summer.

But i hope you all go, and have a fabulous time  :)

I live in Seattle, so I'm up for anything anytime! :D I have a feeling I'll make it to the Avatar exhibit more than once.

Txantsan!

If my calculations are correct we have:

   Total so far = 10

That's not exactly a HORDE.

I wonder if we should do something to broaden the visibility of this?

They don't really seem to take groups of under 30 people that seriously just based on what I'm seeing on the website. I totally understand this.

I should have said, maybe we could get you to put it up a bit closer to when we plan to go.  I'm a little tired tonight.
I will need a count by a month before the trip and my cousin does have a hotel in Seattle.  I'm not sure what the price would be yet because we're so far away from it.  I'll have more info probably about 3 months before.
