I'd like to vote down July and August because of the heat--not saying they're out of the question, but if we can do June I think it would be nicer.

It gets hot in Seattle?  I thought all it ever did there was rain*.    ;D

*based on experience from two prior visits, 'cuz that's all it ever did the whole time I was there.  I had to scrape off the moss when I got home.  :)

I'm actually not sure about the heat in Seattle....but I know I'm also going to be traveling to Eastern WA and also hopefully Oregon which both definitely get hot...maybe other people are planning on doing other traveling also?

Idea! Can someone put a poll in this thread so we can vote on which months are the best for us? It'd be easier to keep track that way IMO. I would do it myself if I could.

The weather is best in July, warm but not too hot (well, past 80 makes us sweat), and the rain isn't so bad. June is nice too. Seattle is nice when it's sunny.

Unfortunately, I'm currently in the Mid-Atlantic region, so travel that far is out of the question until A) I get a car and B) I finish college. At least thats how it is for 2011.

Kalxti! I would like to meet up with other LN members too. I want to see the exhibit and have always wanted to visit Seattle anyway! Need to order all new shirts to wear!

That video is awesome. I can't wait to see all the props and costumes in person.

I casted my vote for June. Late June (after the 20th) would be preferable as that's when I get out of class. Early July would also work.

EDIT: Thanks for the video Prrton ;D

It'd be awesome if this became a roving exhibit so we could all see it without having to go to Seattle.

But it will probably be a few years until it gets close to you, and then, only to major cities. Closest it will probably get to here, for instance, is the Bay area (about a 5 hour drive).

I am beginning to wonder if this is going to become the West coast version of the rapidly evolving East coast meetup, being organized for May 21st.

If ever I can come, June would also probably be a good month for me, too :)

In any case, from what we hear in this video, it seriously looks like this exhibition is gonna be 'epìkx ;D
