Neytiri: She will try to kill you.
Jake: Outstanding. *takes out an ikran-catcher and walks through hometree looking for women*

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SO going to this I live 3 hours from Seattle!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!! Holy cheese I am sitting in the student center of my college right now and I got so many weird looks when I was all flipping out while reading the article LOL!!! Thank you so much for sharing this!

-Txonä Rolyu

Edit Y'know one of the things that really made me flip is the article starts with "James Cameron and Paul Allen..." Paul Allen flippin owns the place I work at! I should have expected that he and Cameron knew each other, but I still flipped when I saw his name next to Cameron's! Lol.

I may just be able to make it to this. June is totally doable, especially if in Canada on passport or still stateside waiting.

I am very much going to do what I can to make it to Seattle to see this.
Sran. I have to. It will be a LOOONG swim, but it must be worth it. Don't have a clue yet when, but it's not the end of 2012 yet. I will see this. And I will shout it out when it happens.

You're so close... :P

While I'm convincing my mom to take a trip to the West coast I need to make sure to not mention that I want to go see an Avatar exhibit, otherwise she'll think that's the only reason I want to go and will make me pay for my airline ticket. ;)

It's all in the wording. ;D

The article does say "The exhibit will stay at the museum through Sept. 3, 2012, then go to other cities."

So there's some hope.  Perhaps a big LN meetup in Seattle before the exhibit moves on?   That would be wou!  ;D

That museum is less than a block from Seattle's PBS station KCTS. Perhaps I need to take a run up there in June and see their newest digital production control system (they are a DTV pioneer, and the first PBS station to broadcast in digital). There is a lot of cool stuff in that area, including the Space Needle.

From the ground, the museum looks like a rubble heap that someone threw a circus tent over, and then crashed a satellite into. From the Space Needle, it looks like a guitar with hands playing it.

I am actually considering coming. And it might be in April or May 2012. (Hailing from Europe, it's not like I swing on the bike and pedal over. I wish!! :D)
