(The Travelodge in Seattle)

  • This is for the June 4th Group only as of right now.
  • The hotel we will be staying at is the  Travelodge  located on 200 6th Ave N Seattle .
  • The weeknight rate will be $110, the weekend rate will be $144. This does not include tax, but with 15% off, it is effectively tax free! Of course if you share a room the price is halved.
  • If you are taking a car there will be a $10 parking fee per day.
  • Breakfast is included, both cold and cooked breakfast is available.
  • There is also a gym, outdoor pool and hot tube for use also included.
  • You are not fixed to a duration as long as it includes the weekend of 4th and 5th June.
  • You will be able to make the booking yourself. This  cannot  be done online. Instead they will take the bookings via either email or by telephone. Details given below.

How to Book:

  • State it as part of the  'Avatar Fan Communities booking' .
  • State the arrival and departure date, which should include the 4th June.
  • State the type of room you wish to book: 1 double bed or 2 double beds. i.e. to sleep one or two persons respectively.

Seattle Science Fiction Museum Tickets

(The Seattle Science Fiction Museum)

Thanks to CyanRachel, we now have all of the information about buying tickets to the Seattle Science Fiction Museum. This is where the Avatar exhibit is going to be starting June 4th.

"You may purchase tickets in advance online at anytime- those tickets will be good for one year from the purchase date and will include admission into Avatar: The Exhibit. If you are purchasing tickets for a group of 9 or more, please call Brady at 206.770.2776."
-From a Representative at the museum

This means that if we have at least 9 people that can go, it would be to our advantage to get this deal and save 10% on the tickets. If you are for sure going, wait to buy your tickets and hopefully we will have 9 people to get the discount.
So that we know if we have the 9 people, anyone who is interested in this deal should send a reply to this newsletter or post it on your respective thread.
