Here is a quote I really love (taken from Dexter, of all things), that I've translated. I think it's mostly right, except for pum; I'm not sure if it's appropriate to use here. (Edited with Tìtstewan's suggestions.)

Fko a tìngayti fwew lu mal, slä tìng am'at fkoru a plltxe san oel tsat rolun.
One who seeks the truth is trustworthy, but give doubt to one who says, "I have found it."
(Originally: "Trust those who seek the truth, but doubt those who say that they have found it.")
"Your work is to discover your world, and then with all your heart give yourself to it."

What about tsat or just tsatìngayti instead pum? pum isn't correct there. It's a placeholder that refering to a previously mentioned noun/prenoun, but pum doesn't refer to the exact same object previously mentioned, rather just the same type of the object. Just my favorite bird example to show the meaning of it:

Tsayayo lu ean, slä fìpum lu tun.
That bird is blue, but this one is red.
That bird (A) is blue, but this one (bird B) is red.
(Both are the same type: a bird, but they are not the same bird.)

The pum in your sentence sounds weird to me:
One who seeks the truth is trustworthy, but give doubt to one who says, I have found one.
I don't think that you mean "two" different "truths". :) Therefore, I would write there tsat (it) or tsatìngayti (that truth) as tsa- refers to the exact same object -> truth.

Btw, this thread sound like it would belong to this topic:

Ahhhh, I see now. I was confused what made pum different than the other pronouns. (All pronouns refer to previously mentioned things. That's what they're for after all.)

I don't know that this sentence would belong in that thread, though. It's pretty straightforward, especially compared to some of the other sentences I've tried to tackle.
"Your work is to discover your world, and then with all your heart give yourself to it."

This version seems correct. Another possible way of saying the same (partly more literal, partly more free):

Nga tsun spivaw suteti a tìngayit fwew, slä nari si krra fko plltxe san oel tsat rolun sìk.
Oe lu skxawng skxakep. Slä oe nerume mi.

Pum confused me as well. If I want to use pum, I try to think always the little rule that pum refers to a type of a mentioned noun/pronoun - [X]pum "type B" refers to [X]object "type A"

I just thought that this would fit there as that sticky thread is about sentence translations which aren't that easy.

I think it wasn't difficult to translate this statement :)
