Help with a few sentences
« on: January 15, 2011, 04:38:30 pm »
Kaltxì,

I need some help with a few sentences I built.
I'm not sure whether they're grammatically correct or whether they're kind of rubbish ;-)

These are the sentences:

Oe slu ayli’fya rolìy
Ilä pxay I’en me’em law si
Oel ngati kameie

What I want to say is, freely translated:

I want to sing in many languages for you
And play on every instrument to tell you
I love you - or in Na'vi rather "I see you"

I tried to make the sentences rhyme.

Please tell me if those sentences are ok or correct me if they're wrong.

Thanks a lot ;-)

Kìyevame

I, just me personally, would translate this as:

New oe ngafpi rivol fralì'fyafa
Ulte pamtseo sivi fte ngaru fra'i'enfa
piveng san lu yawne oeru nìtxan nga

I like your intended meaning. ;D

Ma tsmukan, fralì'fya means "every language", kefyak? If you want to say "many languages", I think you should use pxaya lì'fya :)
Nìrangal frapo tsirvun pivlltxe nìNa'vi :D

Totally mllte, but it's not said that translation must be literal.

BTW, I've been thinking about sht like nìlì'fya apxay. Isn't that allowable, is it?
