short poem

[Kì'eyawn]

Kaltxì, ma smuk.  I've written a very short poem/song...thing...that very nearly rhymes, occasionally.  Anyway, feel free to correct, critique, and otherwise toy with as you see fit.

Tìng mikyun aywayru hufweyä sì tompayä
Ulte stawm mokriti Eywayä
Nawma Sa'nok rerol awngafpi
Ulte tìrusolìl Peyä ngop kifkeyti

Tìng nari ayfya'oru sanhìyä sì tsawkeyä
Ulte tse'a tìsrewti Eywayä
Nawma Sa'nok srerew awngafpi
Ulte tìsrusewìl Peyä fmal kifkeyti

Atan tìvawmsì
Trr txonsì
Eywal rey'engit hawnu

Tìterkup tìreysì
Kllte tawsì
Eywal rey'engit hawnu

I went back and forth between using tìng nari and nìn in the second stanza, but the former works better for symmetry reasons.

As far as i know, *tìsrew isn't verified; i took some liberties with that.

I don't know where fmal comes from, so i'm not sure i'm using it correctly.

I recognize it probably should be kifkeyit, but i was going for rhyme.

Corrections? None. As for kifkeyit vs. kifkeyti, both are sanctioned. I also read the consistent use of the long case endings as a tad "ceremonial" (or suchlike), which I think fits perfectly.

Yes, that was the thought.  Especially if it were to be sung—i would say extra vowels are the spice of song, or something to that effect.  I know French at least will "bring back" silent word-endings in music, so i figured why not.

Ngaru seiyi oe irayo nìtxan, ma 'eylan.  Sìlpey oe tsnì faylì'u suteru lì'fyayä leNa'vi prrte' livu.

Edit: Ultimately, i intend to continue to add to this.  I think i'm going to title this Tìrol 'Ìheyuä
