Hey... I just found this and I have to say, It's awesome, what did you made. :) I can see the effort, you put into this... And I might try to play this on piano one day... (In fact, I used to play on the piano for nine years, but the whole last year I haven't touch piano at all... And I might start again before I forgot everything :D ) But... Keep up the good work. ;)

This is awesome! Any chance you could upload the Sibelius files though?

Ikran Ahiyìk

Thanks for all your support, I can feel it.. :)

Source files.. oh yeah, I better upload them, but let me finish the new arrangements first.

Here's the latest track list.
48 is somehow a perfect number in music.
Tracks 1-23 remain the same,
tracks 24-35 shift to 25-36,
tracks 36-43 shift to 39-46,
track 44 is separated into 47 & 48.
(You can guess where track 48 starts ;D)

Finally I can make update here..

As you can see, I've translated the theme song I See You into Na'vi,
that means, the progress is nearly reached the end point -

Today I've printed out the last set of sheets for marking fingerings,
and the testing work of it will be completed in 1 or 2 weeks.. (this have taken me more than half year)

THE WHOLE PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED SOON !! :D
(edits and data-inputing doesn't take much time)

Great to hear that! I haven't forgotten about you, just to let you know. I just don't know how to find time for you. What I'll do though is handing a few pages to my teacher, let's see what she says. Besides that the sheet are very difficult. ;D

A dozen already.. anyone here..?

Sometimes I think music isn't that good.
Even for a performed audio track there's still many people don't know the way to listen.
Not to comment on sheets, just ... a bit jealous in seeing how stories, poems, drawings, even programs, popular among this community.. :-[
But what can I do? I have no way to compete with them, matter of quality.

I'm trying not to keep all emotion in my head, that's really painful sometimes, and this is why I post something like this again..
For those who have say anything on this (hope you are not bored), I understand your speechless support (in most of the time), and I understand you need the time for other things.. in general, no one willing to discuss on the same topic everyday.
One more thank you to you all... :'(

Track 7 measure 997:
you wrote 13 for the tr~~~~~,
but the A with the second finger.
I don't know about others, but I personally can't twist my fingers in
that way. Or have I misunderstood something?

Apart from that, great (and much) work. :) :) *thumbs up*

And, btw. what do the italic numbers mean?

hemmond

I apologize... I want to try it on the piano, but I've really small amount of time and Piano is unaccessible... :/ But It's awesome work, you're doing here. :)

Hmm.. the trill is 4313 actually, and the space between 43 and 13 means use 43 for the first and 13 for all the remaining turnings. 4 and 1 is for A and 3 is for B flat.

About the A an octave lower, you can see the 2 is written in the same level with 1/3 on its left, that means it's supposed to be played by the left hand. You can't hold all the bass actually, and lengthening them by pedal creates another effect too.

Italics means they are second option of playing method. Fingerings are always suggestions only, I made them depend on my hands and usual methods, but not yours maybe. Sometimes I found two ways to play the same phrase, I'll leave the more highly suggested one in bold, and change the second one in italic.

Thank you for your interest ;)

Nothing to apologize.. they are really more difficult than normal modern arrangements of any kinds.
Just feel a bit sad for the popularity of (this board,) this (kind of) project comparing others.. but that's very good to me at least there are people like you all..

It's proving most of the time I make self replies here it will soon draw your attention, but not for any edits of update.. I can't make new replies all the time, that's spamming...

Your sheet musics are really amazing when I listen to them on Youtube. You're doing a great work, really. Don't get discouraged. If I had the time, I would try to play one especially "Gathering of the Na'vi clans".

Ikran Ahiyìk

Thanks. :)
Coming fingerings will help you more on playing, and there may be some even greater tracks..

Something "NEW" found today...

You maybe excited about this two pictures

Actually I have this feeling a long while ago when I first saw this video..

Avatar: Creating an Otherworldly Soundtrack with Pro Tools, ICON, and Sibelius

I knew what 9M4 is (yeah there's written), but the score is totally unfamiliar to me,
I found the part I used to hear in the second picture, but it's starting from page 2 ("bar 31" maybe) instead of the beginning.

What the new thing today is I found that I actually HAVE this track for long, together with a mp4 video (done anonymously) playing the corresponding scene with this music.
Now, the matter asking for comment is,

is it good to add this 30 bars also in my arrangement (transcription maybe)?

There are many musical themes throughout the entire movie, but often there are parts that appears once only, and this is one of it.

It's much more touching than the original recycled thing. I forgot to tell, this 30 bars are replacing bars 5079-5128 (in 48 tracks-version 3) in the video clip.
Something have to restate, I'm just inserting it but not replacing something by it as the video,
because I still want to keep them all (GREEDY ;D) and they have their pros,
the now one reminds us the scene, and this planned one (known as "original recording" .. ?) is fresh and touching.

The reason or viewpoint to keep this fit is

try to think this new thing as "sorrow in heart, a painful remembrance",

just a recall, or think of your own sad scenes in your head.

And there is also the original version of Quaritch Down, replacing bars 5285-5339.
It reminds me strongly the sense "We are standing with Na'vi now", which is very great ;D
But this time inserting makes the track weird, I can only add it in ossia, "alternate play" form.

This part is the main music of The Avatars Attack in Deleted Scenes.
