So Jake's First Flight is turning out nicely, and I thought I'd share some intermediate progress. Transcribed and arranged by me (Sebastian Wolff). Pardon its incomplete glory.

If You have guitar pro (or other program of that type), You can try to just type it in and it should show you the tab and play it (the program).

I assume (since there isn't any label to tell otherwise) that this is for piano.  Full orchestra or string orchestra arrangement would be pretty cool.

The music looks professional, and looks complex.  If you could make a video or audio recording of how it's supposed to be played, the music might not seem as imposing.  (That or it'll pan out to be way harder than it looks :D)

im currently working on that as i speak. i also have very high standards when transcribing music and hopefully it will turn out nicely.

That is looking very good. I would like to get a copy of it when you are done. I like it so far and i think my band instructor would love to look at it ( He is a big fan of avatar). I can not weight untill you are done. If it is ok with you could i show what you have so far to my band instructior?

Payoang

Sure - spread the word! I'd happily arrange something for band too, although my orchestration skills aren't quite what they should be...

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.

This transcription is excellent. If anyone wanted to play it on the piano, it's rather easy to flesh out some of the less rhythmically dense parts (say, measures 22-40) by continuing a flowing sextuplet pattern in the left hand. I did notice a couple places in the bass line where the note on the page is an octave above where it is in the soundtrack, but that's to be expected with any transcription. Most people's left hands can't span a tenth on the piano, and that's how the chords in that section in the low strings seem to be spaced. (Then again, I don't exactly have the greatest ear for relative pitch.)

I've definitely already printed what you have and I intend to start trying to play it as soon as I can. (Midterms...ugh...)

Thanks! It currently is still work-in-progress, so the base lines and melodies are ... well, very bare-bones. Fleshing out will definitely occur, as with all other songs from the soundtrack. I hear you though - midterms keep getting in the way of all the fun projects I have planned. If you're up for helping arrange, hit me up! [email protected] :)

To quote what just about everyone else has already said - brilliant!!!  I would very much like to have a copy of this once it is completed.
This is so awesome!  Well done!

I'll definitely be interested in helping once my school schedule clears up. I've always liked trying to orchestrate music for instruments other than those it was originally intended for, but I'm up for anything after this week-from-Hell is over with.
