No. Move to here ma frrtu. The Complete Score.

This maybe my last attempt to post my work here...
I feel your support, I may try to upload other phases. Keep on... thanks!

It seems more people want to see the sheet of this track. Take a look first...

This is actually one phase from a book, so the bar numbers maybe a bit strange, and the name of the great composer James Horner goes to the cover, not here.

It was arranged in late April (a late date for you...), all hand-drafted, now I am inputing them. It is still in process, all the expressions and slurs are missing, maybe fingerings also, and I haven't arrange the positions for page flipping. It is arranged for live performance.

This is my FIRST attempt on this kind of thing, and I maybe not old enough, hope it is acceptable and you will like it... :P

Same as Payoang, I use Sibelius 6 also.

Support? Hmm... you may check out these

ALL the key signatures?! Thats an awesome goal, and will require a lot of more work...unless the program you utilize does that for you, which would make it easy. :) But, will it sound good? I mean, well, right now I cannot see the sheet music because I am on my mobile, and I do not remember which key it was in. Regardless, if it is in a Major key, and you plan on playing it in all keys, including minors, wouldn't the essence of it change? Same in vice versa. Well, it would, but the sound would me more than different. Would it also stay in pure minor, or would you make them harmonic, or melodic? Hrh sorry, I am so very curious now :)

Ikran Ahiyìk

I mean the whole book with all the 44 phase (this is 27th). ::)
Horner composed all of them. (it's key signature not key - some of the keys, mostly major keys, didn't use)

(This is a minor work, just for outlook of the sheet, listeners won't hear it.)

For a single phase, I even try to change key signatures as few as possible. In this one, I used b, a#, and a only, much more accidentals then others'.

Well sran, I know its key signature, I just didn't want to write it over and over... ::) Anyways, so not in all key sigs I see, and srane, accidentals.. But, if accidentals are used in at least more than three measures in a row, it would be more of a modulation.

Seykxetskxe te Vawm 'Ewan'ite (Kalin Kato)

Regardless of key sigs hrh, it is TXANTSAN work and awesome that you notated it ^-^

Ikran Ahiyìk

Choosing the key signature(s) is the first step of arrange-by-ear work.
Yeah I know there's actually more then 10 keys, maybe it's my style, I just don't prefer changing them too often. Only in some cases: The ending is not same key as the signiture; it's too far from the actual key, maybe using F# to represent D, or G, even F; some outlooking purpose; etc...
I usually play classical music, maybe it affects me... :)

I initially chose g# for the main key signature, but later I found that the content in b is even longer.
You can't see this change clearly in the draft also because the part is re-written...

What? Sorry, I'm a bit slow! ???

So what are you talking about? Do you want to tell me that the score isn't played in B Minor? And you only added some keys just for fun?

Yes, by ear....that is hard for me to do, as in figuring out the key sig for it, takes me some time... And srane, I can see the re-written parts. And well, we all have our styles and preferences for music ::) I still think its awesome that you were able to notate it so well. :)

And well, classical music, I believe it would depend on the composer and its style...I think there would be classical music that has a bunch of different key sigs, etc. Also, the period would affect as well.

Read the posts before, something for you to see, 270-page draft ;)

Maybe it is a problem on my expression... Fun? For outlook arranging, it is a bit fun to me.
The key sigs are chosen by what the keys exectly, I don't change the key from original for any reasons (except the last phase - haven't input yet).
The keys I got from this phase (track) are:

  • 3396-3407 e
  • 3408-3416 a#   <- secondary key
  • 3417-3436 d#
  • 3437-3446 b   <- primary key
  • 3447-3453 g#
  • 3454-3458 g
  • 3459-3473 b
  • 3474-3479 a
  • 3480-3446 b
  • 3493-3516 g#
  • 3517-3531 b
  • 3532-3535 c#
  • 3536-3552 a#
  • 3553-3573 e
  • 3574-3577 d
  • 3578-3584 f
  • 3585-3598 b
  • 3599-3606 e
  • 3607-3608 a
  • 3609-3612 a#
  • 3613-3614 d#
  • 3615-3616 g#
  • 3617-3625 a#
  • 3626-3660 a   <- quite long ending, change key sig

I came these in the beginning of work, it takes about double and a bit more time of track duration.
As you see, these are the actual keys, that's how I chose sigs. ;)

Key change is nearly a must.
Yes they affected by period; music before 1900 is more standard, or the similar style, I like them more...
They change key quite often also, but seldom change the sig.
Back to this Hometree, I think it is half-standard (what...?), the rules, or methods are quite used to me. Using "old way", only with primary and secondary key sig, and a coda, is OK for me.

Anyway, thanks for your comments. ;)

Ok, I got it. I missunderstood the talking about "key" and "key signature". It's very easy actually.

The 7 sharps scare me. For now. Maybe it's just a matter of practice. :P

Am I right if I think you're nearly done with your first version?

It's either 7 sharps or 5 flats, both are many, only the E# and B# may take some practice... If it is possible for one phase to use only sharp sigs or only flat sigs, than it should be, kefyak? :)

Now I am up to 37. War... Just coping from the draft.

Edit: Wait a second. "First version" - you mean something printable like the one here or just any arrangement?

Something printable. I know that a hand-written version exists. "First version" also refers to your post in that you mention there's much more to do than just copying. You know...

Oh, than it's just an extra question.
Yesterday I have no time and now up to 38 (2nd part of war), it is quite long and complicated, takes some time.
To complete the whole first version I think it takes 3-4 weeks more... :P

So is there anyone would like to see any other phases of the first version?
