How's about you take something without lyrics and go from there?

Here's a vid of one of my drummer idols, Thomas Lang, performing his take on a song called Keine Lust.  Beast of a song, and he's enough of a beast to match.

Lol. At least the Bolts win more than the Rams! (my team)

Yeah, I feel you pain on that one, I have been a cardinals fan for 12 years and the last time we had a championship was 1947. I do root for the rams in conference play against anyone but the cards though, living in columbia I kinda have to :)

He's been drumming since he was 5 and is now about 42 years old.  And he's also the guy that pioneered advanced foot technique.  And he likes listening to heavy metal.  And it's guys like these that I love to show people when they think that Travis Barker is the best drummer ever (which is obviously not true: Buddy Rich wins that battle).

As for football, with all honesty, I believe that every team will have their day.  And as bitter as it feels for me to type this, I know that the Colts' talent won't last forever.

^that is hilarious.
A note on cheering in na'vi, I am still a begginer so most of what I have learned will probably not work so I plan to just be a little random. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As of now the most relevant thing I'm going to do is translate "ride that ikran" for long plays ;)

by the thanks to kaltì and itan, it's so nice to feel appreciated :D
The art of being a total couch potato and cheering on REAL men who are getting the crap beaten out of them is to shout things that "sound macho." This is why shouting works at all. It sounds like you are making an effort. Hard consonants (k--k--k) give us timeless (moronic) classics, like KILL HIM, or KICK THE (???) BALL! or ARE YOU BLIND? (here--emphasis on "bl" and "D!")

For "sound" effect" you may want to use "Skxawn Eyktan!" (with disgust, and almost a spit at the end) every time people yell at the ref or the coach. "Nari siiii!" or "Nari siii! siiiiiii!" during those long floating passes where you want the guy to catch (or miss the ball)--or when the guy is running a long way for a touch down. If the quarter back makes a stupid play--or if you just want to insult the opposing team in general, you might go with "Snumìna! tute!" (dumb person), or "Snumìna! TAWtute!", or even "Snumìna! tawtute! askxawng" if you really want to crank it up.

You can tell the people there that this means whatever you ant them to think it means of course :)

Other general cheers (based on sound first--meaning secondary, but important) might be Ayoe! (We) or "Ayoe srane!" (tell anyone who asks that it means yes we can, yes we did, we can do it--whatever) "Keheeee(hh)" (Nooooooo...!) or even Srak!--Srak srak srak! just for the sound of it.

Okay, those are dopey ideas, but they might be fun to try in a pinch. Happy (generic) "Sunday" everyone

2022 update: Working on the new astrology book. "How to read tarot" books are on Amazon, if you are into that sort of thing.
Okay, so the old podcast is here: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/radioavatar It was goofy fun that ended too soon, but we had creative people. I hope we can get a new gang together (interested? PM me, let's make some magic!)
(Very old, outdated) Na'vi FUN activity book is here: But what are you doing? Let me know! :)

I can't stop laughing at this. But there needs to be a "pit-stop at Walmart" in there. And that drummer is pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. Cookie!

"Ayoe srane!" (tell anyone who asks that it means yes we can, yes we did, we can do it--whatever)

I now wish I had photoshop so I can mod one of those Obama campaign posters to say "Obama: Ayoe srane!" as a spoof.  maybe make him a Na'vi as well.

Okay, ONLY because I am still under the influence of massive sleep-depo (must find coffee) AND because it is Superbowl Sunday, I scribbled out a "fight song" for Toruk Makto (like he has a football team). WARNING: It is as bad, and dumb, as I would expect from my non-lyric writing self. I found the "Chargers rap song" that made me wake up singing "Toooooruk Toooooruk MAKTO! ... (Makto!)"

Okay, here is a sample of that song's lyrics followed by what I wrote before I could stop myself. I will have the good taste of course to keep it in a spoiler. I apologize, profusely, in advance, but I am a shameful, evil, heartless swirä (creature)--like Gollum, or (Heath Ledger's) The Joker.

Okay, so I think I will take a nap now.

and I'm not going to lie: after seeing that game, it was well deserved.  And as much as I like my Colts, we screwed ourselves in the second half.  Heck, PEYTON screwed the win with that interception.

Ah well, Super Bowl 44!  Now each team is 0-0 in the next season.

As soon as I saw that interception I turned off the TV and vowed to finish this damned activity book. I thought I was done, but I have a small pile of notes scribbled on scratch paper. Hmmm... maybe a few more days. But I did like the game up until the interception. What a comeback.

I am not at all sad that the Colts lost. This will be good for New Orleans (they will party for the next week--and wait until Mardi Gras this year!) As to PM-the guy is soooo good, and he has such good chemistry with his receivers, that he is good for another superbowl next year if he keeps his focus.

Yeah, man, I feel you. I can't tell you how painful the Rams Pats superbowl was for me. The Giants Pats superbowl practically felt like my team getting revenge!

Dude, Pats-Giants SB was epic.  Especially that 3rd and 11 (I think) when, from the camera position, Eli looked sacked, then all of a sudden you see him scramble out of the pocket and throw that pass to David Tyree, which he promptly catches between his right hand and his helmet.  Totally worth watching, especially for Belichick's reaction, which was not played on T.V, but is on youtube. :D
