Are you searching for love?

Stay anonymous, just vote.  I do not have a way of knowing who voted, or what they voted, but I was curious, how many were searching.

I know that it can be a challenge to find someone, and sometimes the best place to look, is where you find friends, so I understand if you have hope, and I understand if you look anywhere it might be possible.

I have given up on love, it has crushed me, broken me, destroyed me, but that is no reason for it to do the same for the searching ones.  Try to be respectful, and understand that I have a serious idea for creating a venue.  So this phase is an initial research poll.

Thank you for your kind words... but I don't think it will ever happen. I have been searching so long, so hard. I have cried myself to sleep. He had gotten the ring, but then, one day he just up and said he didn't love me "that way". I found out he had moved to the States for some girl, but had never bothered to do so for me. (he is Australian)

My suggestion would be to not go out looking for it then BAM!! one day it'll just hit you. Just be happy with what you have for now.

The only thing you can do is to have faith in God and I am certain that someone will come to you and say "I love you just for who you are and there is no doubt about that." Don't let the fact that your fiance dumped you stop you from finding someone who will be more faithful to you. I've never had a boyfriend in my entire life but I know how love can be for most people and hopefully this particular advice can help you. Never give up on love. Love never stops.

Please don't preach about God on here, thank you. I am Pagan Buddhist and do not want to be ridiculed and I feel uncomfortable when people say those things, even with the best of intentions (especially since so many people in my life have called me nasty things for my faith). I have tried being patient, but at 25, I want to marry, have a family. It hurts to see so many happy couples, and not be one of them. I have spent every single valentine's alone. I have tried dating sites, I have prayed. I have even given up. I don't know what else to do, really.

I hope you are right ma 'eylan, because being alone bites.
