I can chop LED strip every 3 dots and connect that slices by wires. This may help a little but detinitely add a lot of extra work. I need to make few test.

How about Electro Luminescent wire?
You could paint it black, leaving a gap in the paint for each tanhi?

NO, NEVER EVER!

I know how EL wire works and even have some samples. The cheapest "bluish" color is the best because it's possible to change light color by frequency. But on the other side, driving EL wire need about 100V AC voltage and few mA per meter. 10m need at least 50mA power supply. If insulation breaks I may receive electric shock.
I'll never wear that sort of equipment. Lithium batteries gives me enough risk and don't need more. I'll rather build tree of voices or atokirina' using el wire.
