It's about a man who lost someone dear to him (wife, child, not sure) because of something he did (probably more or less a reference to him abusing her or maybe something such as drunk-driving).  He confessed that he feels heartbroken, and that all he wishes now is to be able to see here again.

Normal people look at naked people of the opposite sex and call it porn.  Drummers goggle over drum catalogs, large shiny drum kits, and amazing demonstrations of chops and beats and call THAT porn.

Either way, the drummers usually still get the awesome girls.  Though I know bassists and guitarists are not far behind in the running!

While making my drivers license I was exposed to all kind of crazy drivers here. Even in my practical exam there was a guy in front of me who drove over two(!) red lights! My instructor was totally freaking out xD

Please please PLEASE don't be the idiot that texts while driving.  It's worse than driving drunk.  People die doing that.  And most of all, your driving skills go to downright pitiful when you do that.

I don't: I'm too busy watching the road and analyzing the music that I am listening to.  And at the volume I listen to August Burns Red, I think any person within earshot would as well.  I think I'm the only person who listens to metalcore in NC...

No, that's normal.  The key to driving is to NEVER get into a daze.  Best thing to avoid this is to every-so-often check your surroundings.  Are there cars behind you?  How close are they? Anyone pulling out in front of you, and how fast?

I had a student teacher who claims Mario Kart saved his life: he was behind a truck with a bunch of chairs in the back, uncovered and "free," and a couple chairs fell out.  Swerved out of the way and avoided possible injury and bodily harm to the car.  Oh, and himself as well.

Or as an artist/musician, suppression by immersion and expression in that which he performs his craft can greatly distract him from that which is heart-wrenching.  It can only do that for so long...

And it is a fancy way of saying drumming will distract me from my "single-ness."  It can't do that for forever, though.

And that's why if you want to pick up guys, you pick them up through friends.  Or on a college campus: everyone is ready to meet anyone on campuses.  Maybe not for you just yet, Loley...

So, really you mean building a relationship.  Well yeah, so would I!  But that's kind of hard for me when everyone I know and love and grew up with live 650 miles away.  Ah, well, I make friends where I am now, and I have plenty of friend here on the forums that support me.
