Well, I just finished watching Zeitgeist: Addendum. Ah, I love these people. Have any of you watched or heard of this?

I have seen this word Zeitgeist tossed about as if it has a different meaning than its more general German roots.  Because of this, it has become a bit of a meme lately to represent counter establishment ideals.

I have also seen a video tossed about with Zeitgeist as it's title, which went through the process of dismantling religion analytically on what was touted to be historically factual information.  Albeit interesting to me, it could probably be a somewhat offensive topic for those who are spiritually inclined.  I respect that you wish to share, but I would encourage the discussion to be focused on where to find more information and not wander into debates on the issues this covers, here.

Oh, that part was only the first part of Zeitgeist. It connects some of the things later on in the films, but that is not what the whole film is about.

Understood, just pointing out the realm of possible controversy.

Just suggesting a way to keep it peaceful.

I figured the first and second part of the film might be a little controversial. I guess it's good that it can be found in parts  :). What I would like people to discuss is featured at the end of the first film and is visible throughout the second: the views on the monetary system and anything that relates to it.
